Email blocked because of hacking, but code to unblock is being sent to an email win co instead of com.

Coworker's email is blocked because someone hacked into account to spam everyone.  But when I go through the steps to get access again the code is sent to e-mail tat should be com.ar instead of co.ar @ yahoo. How can this be fixed?
