An employee of ours is being accused of soliciting **** by responding to Craigslist ads using a company computer. The sent emails ( very raunchy and contain specific. Identifying details about the employee) were found in his sent box. The question is: is there spam or a virus that can look like emails sent from this account and recorded in the sent box that can also contain a personal description of the person in question? I know this sounds crazy but he claims its a virus or something.? Thanks

I have a Hotmail address (which MS converted to Outlook account, but I still sign-in with Hotmail address). I use IE and Win 7. I notice that craigslist messaging system (masking the actual email addresses) does not work correctly with Hotmail aliases. I used an alias as my craigslist account email address, but the craigslist messages went into my primary address in-box and showed addressed to my primary address instead of my alias and my Hotmail/Outlook folder designated for the alias that I used with my craigslist account. But the Amazon.com messaging system (also masking the actual email addresses) works correctly with Hotmail aliases. Also, when I send an email reply to someone else on craigslist, I'm not sure if they see my actual email address or the masked address of the craigslist messaging system. (I don't think there are any real techs at craigslist to answer such questions, so I thought someone on the MS forum might have some insight about this issue.) This isn't a major concern. I doubt that I'll use craigslist much. It looks sort of primitive and feels clunky to use.

How does someone report e-mails that are of sexual notations and are coming from their .live account?  I had placed an ad on craigslist in the Orlando area for an item that we have for sale.  All I get are e-mails from perverts that want to meet with me over coffee, as they would like to do certain things with me.  I need to find out how to be rid of these people.  The ad has been removed from  craigslist, but I am still receiving these nasty e-mails.

Below is a sample of the type of e-mail I want to be rid of!!  I have posted the topic as Reading, Writing and Formatting, but it has nothing to do with any of these categories.  HELP!!!!!

Is it still true that Craigslist's anonymous 2-way email posts and Outlook are incompatible? I see this is an OLD problem that still isn't resolved. I missed a dinner date because of it tonight. Why can't outlook and craigslist resolve this huge problem? Why can't we at least be warned??

I already sent two emails to Outlook.com's help page, no replies yet.

I read similar threads. Is my only solution to open a new mail account with a different program? If so, I'm closing my hotmail/outlook account and will never return. If you can help me, I'll wait on that change.

BTW, I had to open five pages of nearly identical complaints to be able to post this.

hello, how do I attach a file from my photo gallery to an email OR I post items to be sold on Craigslist and I cannot attach them either using Web Browser.  How do I move them to a "folder" on my C drive or even my desktop.  very frustrated.   thanks

This is a different question than other people on here saying they cannot *receive* emails.

My problem is that I have set up my business domain with Outlook.com. Everything has been working great.......except for when I send an email to a Craigslist posting.

I found out that people were not receiving my emails that I was sending to Craigslist posts. So as a test, I sent an email to one of my own Craigslist postings. One with my Outlook account and one with my Gmail account. Guess what happened? ONLY my email that was sent via Gmail made it through. I never even got the email from my Outlook account, not even into the Spam folder.

Can anyone help me track down why that would be the case? Thanks!

So i recently started to sell things on ebay as well as Craigslist. when people mail me can they see my display picture? i also send may to people on craigs list when im interested in buying something as well... i find it very impersonal when they are able to see it. its of my children and i just dont feel safe leaving my hotmail picture up there. i have no accounts linked so im just wondering when we mail back and forth can they see it?
I'm getting endless spam, from different accounts, all with the same title, because the address was found from a Craigslist for-sale post.  Thus I could eliminate it if I could block all messages with that TITLE or subject line.  Is that doable?  Thanks for the help -- as Hotmail help doesn't appear to be helpful.
When trying to figure out why I couldn't reply to a message sent to me via Outlook Express, (Craigslist specificaly), all my Yahoo (default) email messages transferred to my Outook Express inbox, how can I get them back into my Yahoo inbox?
