I have been trying for over a month to get Microsoft to accept my credit card for ad-free outlook.com. I keep putting the correct credit card info but it keeps getting declined. How do I get my payment to go throught?
Following numerous email requests from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** I have tried to delete a credit card in my Microsoft Account to enable me to pay and continue my ad-free subscription with a replacement credit card. I am unable to do this without first contacting Support
because of nonexistent "associations" with the card I wish to delete.
Unfortunately, Microsoft do not display any contact information.
I have tried twice to obtain assistance by telephoning number 0800 587 2920 (UK) and 0844 800 240025 but without success.
Can you assist me please.

I have today received notification of cancellation of my outlook ad-free account. Microsoft tried several times to apply for payment from my credit card but the card was out of date. As soon as I realised this I tried to update the payment information,
but could not do so because a code was to be sent to an alternate e-mail address which was also no longer in use.
On changing the alternate e-mail address the message from Microsoft was that this could not be used for 4 weeks. I duly waited 4 weeks and then changed the billing information [about 10 days ago] to include the new credit card number, though there was
no facility to delete the old number - only to add the new one.
I am now informed that my ad-free account will be closed.
In addition to the actions I took above, I tried calling customer support - fairly early in the morning, several weeks ago - holding on for some 40 mins but receiving no reply.
I am appalled that Microsoft make an operation as simple as changing a credit card number so utterly difficult and frustrating - and treat customers with such disdain. Even the title of this page is annoying: I don't want to 'create a question or start
a discussion ' I JUST WANT YOU TO TELL ME - A REASONABLY INTELLIGENT PERSON - HOW TO RENEW MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS OR HOW TO CONTACT SOMEONE AT MICROSOFT WHO WILL PERFORM THIS SIMPLE OPERATION. No other company I know of makes things so difficult.

Because of a billing problem, I was apparently forced out of Hotmail Plus into Outlook, and cancelled from Hotmail in September. All my old email is now accessed through Outlook, and today when I finally replaced my account's credit card, I was immediately
charged $19.95. I seem to have a new anniversary date for my subscription and don't know if I can get back on Hotmail, which I would much prefer. Can anything be done? This is frustrating because the original problem was not of my doing. My credit card company
issued a new card number to me because of security concerns, and my old number could not be charged by Microsoft.
We were notified that Windows Live Hotmail Plus service(s) email is trying to bill our credit card - which recently changed. However, it is requiring we get a code and/or update the security in order to go on to the billing. SO, we did - only the email
it goes to no longer exists. How can we get someone to help us get this fixed. When we went in to update the email it says there is a 30 day period before you can do anything - in the meantime our service won't be able to get billed.
My credit card changed and I had to go into update the card. However, I had to wait 30 days because I changed phones. Now my account is deactivated. The 30 days have passed and I went in to update the cc info. How do I reactivate my account?
I'm trying to delete a credit card and use a new one.
I get this message: Please change your payment option for these subscriptions by contacting support before removing payment option
How do I contact support?
I pay to have a larger capacity of my outlook.com email account. Payment is automatic from a credit card. I received notice expiration date has expired and I needed to update profile. I tried to update but needed a code that they would send to listed emails
which are not current. Requested info be sent to my phone number but it will take 30 days period. I do not want account closed and lose all emails. Any Ideas? Thanks
Can anyone help I seem to have hit a perfect storm. Just as my Skydrive storage came up for renewal my bank discovered attempted fraud on my credit card cancelled my existing credit cards and issued me with new cards. As a result my renewal charge failed.
I received an email from Microsoft informing me and asking me to provide valid card details. I attempted to do this but I have just changed employer and used my old work email for my account security. I have to change email this now, which I can do but as
a security measure Microsoft will not let change this email until the middle of next month. As a result I cannot change my credit card details. This date is long after my Skydrive renewal charge is due. Is there anyway that I can ensure I do not lose data
on my Skydrive until this is resolved? There seems to be no way to contact Microsoft directly to resolve this.
When I try and verify my child's account, I log in to my account and am asked to very that the account is correct. I am ok until I see the screen where I am told that there will be a $.50 deduction taken from my credit card. At this point there is an error.
