I just verified that the user's credit card has a $10 transaction via the Microsoft online support chat. The Manage Storage page shows only 7GB of storage.   The user assumed that the upgrade was complete, because the credit card had been charged, so the user used the Mac app to sync 23Gb of data to Skydrive.  After a day or so the Mac app said the sync was complete.  HOWEVER, Skydrive.com doesn't show the data.   The user put the local sync folders in the user's root folder on the Mac during the app installation, then moved the data to the folders for syncing/uploading.  New files created on Skydrive.com do not sync to the user's local folders either.

Why does Manage storage only show 7GB and where is the data?

Help!
Received a notice that credit card used to service account out of date.  Went in to account to change card details but had to change telephone number first.   Now cannot sign in to change credit card for 30 days until account reactivated with new number!
If anyone has any idea on how to verify an account please let me know. we pay all this money for the service to have someone tell us that you have to use a fourm to find answers. I dont mind fourms but they can't even tell if there is anyone on my family account with me. so glad i own apple computers. lol

Whenever I try to do this I get the following answer:

You recently updated your security info

We have a waiting period for the updates to take effect. On 23/8/2013, we'll delete your old security info:

(gives me an alternative email address I never use)

Once this has been deleted, you'll be able to verify your account with info you have access to. If you didn't make the updates, or if you still have access to the above info, cancel the updates.

Therefore that means that I have to wait a month for something or other but in a couple of days time my subscription will run out and I am not able to put my new Visa details in the system. There is no one human I can call or email and so I am stuck and I will lose all my emails.  I have had a Hotmail account for approx 10 years and I have a lot of stuff on this account that I don't want to lose. Please could someone advise me how I can urgently edit my bank details and overcome this problem (without too much technical jargon) and in a way that works? Thanks, Patricia

I have been sent several e-mails saying: "We are contacting you because we have been unable to charge your credit card for your Windows Live Hotmail Plus service(s) being billed to you through Microsoft Online Services. etc. etc." I must have gotten a new card in the last year & forgot to change the information. The e-mail tells me to go to https://commerce.microsoft.com to update it, which I did, and it asked me to update my security information. I no longer have/use the e-mail address it presented, so I changed it.

Now the page says: "We have a waiting period for the updates to take effect. On 8/6/2013, we'll delete your old security info... once this is deleted, you'll be able to verify your account with info you have access to." Well, now I'm confused because it won't let me get past that, so I am unable to change my card information. How can I do that? The date the updates take effect will be past 30 days, so I am concerned that I am going to lose my e-mail data, images, etc. in the meantime. Should I start moving it, or what will happen? Thank you in advance for your answer(s).

I received a call from Miscrosoft Support on 7/17/13.  The person asked if my computer had gotten very slow in the last couple days. I agreed that it had.  He told me he could correct that for me at a cost of $20 and that I must use a debit card rather than a credit card.  I agreed.  He said a Mr. Roger Williams would soon be taking over my computer. They asked for my debit card number plus the security # on the back.  After 2 hours of various instructions (and my computer moving of it's own accord) we became disconnected.  Today I have found that I have been charged $$157.00, $307.00, $157.00 and $307.00 - a total of $928.00.  This is for a 6 year old computer that isn't worth $100!  They gave me a Windows warranty # of 0326543256 and a registration # of 32563259Window if that's any help.

Can you do anything to help me?

I have been trying to create an account for my child for several days.  I can get the point of requesting parental verification.  It then indicates that a credit card must be charged $.50.  I have tried 3 different cards and each time the message below is returned and I cannot complete the process.
