Hello Microsoft Team,

I understand that this is not a standard option to be enabled on my domain xtel.in I have associated with Microsoft. Please enable the password reset option for my domain mail addresses.

Thank You.
Hello,

I have set up an IMAP Outlook account with a custom domain on Apple Mail.app. Everything works well so far, but when I send an email, two identical copies of the same email are stored in the Sent folder (but one copy is sent to the recipient). In Mail.app I have tried turning off the option to save the sent items on the server, but it keeps turning on back itself.

Does anyone have idea how to solve this? I tried turning off “Saving sent messages” under Outlook.com Settings, but without luck.

Thanks,
Gjorgji

Hello,

I have set up a custom domain on Outlook.com. I want to use Apple’s Mail.app with IMAP configuration, but without success so far. Here’s the error I get:

I get the same error when trying to configure IMAP on my iPhone, while Exchange ActiveSync works fine. Network Diagnostics says that it connects successfully to IMAP and SMTP servers, but it doesn’t sync any messages or folders. POP mail seems to work fine.

I followed the steps shown here on how to properly set up the email client and I double-checked to make sure I have entered everything correctly. Does this have something to do with the thing that I use a custom domain?

Thank you,
Gjorgji

I need the facility to change the user password at domain.live.com

My domain name is - agsystem.ru

Thanks

I configured a custom domain www.sinclairelec.com.au at Windows Domain Admin Centre at http://domains.live.com. I followed the instructions to create appropriate records at my Domain Registrar to point my domain name to Windows Live. This worked OK including the MX record, Proving Domain ownership by a TXT record and Server Trust using a TXT record. The status of my domain within the control panel is shown as active.

I have created two email addresses - one send and receives fine, the other can send mail but cannot receive mail, either from outlook.com, MS Outlook, Mac Mail - anything.

Some information:
* Email account that currently cannot receive mail (but can send) was working up until this morning (Australian time).
* No domains.live or DNS settings have been altered since original setup.

Can you please help me resolve this issue?
Please let me know if you need further information.
