Hi,

I found the need to have a generic email account automatically forward emails to multiple recipients within our custom domain in outlook.com for notifications.  I have noticed that outlook.com offering the built-in email forwarding feature to a single email address under more setting.  However, I cannot find a way to forward to muliple email address.

Could anyone please give me a hand on this matter?

Thank you in advance,

Geo

I cannot access the email account for a custom domain. Everytime I go to mail.live.com and enter the [xxx]@[customdomain].co.uk and the correct password into the Outlook.com Sign In page, I am directed to a page with the text below

  • Call us overprotective...
  • The account you're signing in to is missing some required info. To finish signing in, you need to change your password, then enter the missing info.

We respect your privacy and will use this information in accordance with our privacy policy.

  • Verify your information

For security purposes, enter the password for the account you're trying to sign in to.
    [xxx]@[customdomain].co.uk
However I enter the information on this page, the site just loops me round and will not allow me to activate the email address.

The Custom Domain Admin page shows that the custom domain is active and that mail status is "enabled" but that the Inbox is "inactive".

I look forward to your help!

All the best & thank you.

Why can't Password Reset be enabled for custom Live domains. Why do I have to always contact Technical/Customer Support to enable password reset? I believe it is a basic functionality that should exists. At any time, I could decide to want to change the password to any account under the custom domain. And I should have the ability to do so

Hi, I recently transferred my email for my custom domain to Outlook.com (using http://go.domains.live.com).  My question is, how can I access that email while using Outlook 2013, the desktop app?  I'm familiar with setting up email addresses in Outlook 2013, and have been able to add my primary Microsoft account to Outlook 2013. But when I add my custom domain email address, it says that it connects, and I can send from the email address, but I don't receive any messages, get the correct folder list (instead I only see Inbox, Drafts, Sent, etc),  and my contacts and calendar don't sync.  I'm guessing I'm either using the wrong protocol, but I'm not sure which protocols Outlook 2013 accepts, and not sure which protocols I'm set up to use on my custom domain email address.

Any help ?

Hi there,

Trying to create outlook.com mail services for my custom domain www.hannah-illustrates.co.uk and keep getting the message  "This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.

I have already created a question once for this:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/admin-signin/this-domain-name-cant-be-used-because-it-contains/4d4d6b78-4e0d-4a58-bb2c-c287a89cc902

However Microsoft support have clearly forgotten about this! I would like to get this resolved ASAP,
