First of all thank you for the great service you are providing with domains.live.com & Outlook.com

I have a several question regarding custom domains with outlook.com

1- Is it possible to import all emails (with all folders) to custom domain email account including the existing contacts & email attachments ?
2- What is the email/mailbox maximum size with the free service (domains.live.com & Outlook.com) /email user ? GB ?
3- how to assign another custom domain administrator if I have many custom domains under 1 *** Email address is removed for privacy *** ?

Please advice ASAP.

This past few days I've been unable to receive email on my custom domain tiersman.com

MX records are set to the correct settings as far as I can tell. The name-servers recently were changed, and there were multiple records (two NS that were correct and two that were old/needed to be removed). Mail sent to the email address @ the domain.com are not delivered or come back saying there is a delay.


EDIT:

Email is being received correctly from outside-sources such as commercial companies, however no mail is being received from Hotmail accounts including the same account that is unable to receive mail. Oddly, I have other domains with no issues.

I have been using this custom domain with domains.live.com hooked up to Hotmail/Outlook.com for many years.  My DNS registration runs through 2021.

Yesterday users in my domain started telling me that they were no longer receiving email.


When I checked in the admin center it said that the status for my domain had been changed to Pending DNS Configuration.  Any attempt to reconfigure it warns me that all of the mailboxes I currently have will be deleted and all user's email will be lost.


Has anyone else seen a similar issue?  How can I restore the domain so my users can receive email again without losing their existing mailboxes?

We have the custom domain "launchark.com". Is it possible that Junk Email Filters be completely turned off for certain accounts? Or is it possible to create forward only email addresses? Since some of the important emails are being caught by the Junk filter, until explicit marked safe, and that's not a welcome scenario when you expect all emails to be forwarded to another account, and do the filtering there.

I'm accidentally enter unrecoverable account for my custom domain admin "kompek-feui.com"

Is there any other way that the admin move to another account?

My first try mail: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Accidentally change it to: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (which I can't access anymore, i forget this account ever exist)
Need to change it to: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (this Windows Account that I use recently)

I've completed the steps as documented in the Live Admin Center for activating my Custom domain. Now the page simply warns me (yellow box) with the following text:

It may take a few minutes to complete the changes to your service. Please check back later.
You can Cancel service or Edit mail settings

This status has been present for 9 hours+.

The email looks as *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

The status in the Windows Live Admin center says "Active" for my custom domain.

All the DNS settings (TXT and MX) in hostgator are correct which I verified with hostgator based on the Windows Live Admin center custom domain setup instructions.

I can login the outlook.com web interface with *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
I can receive AND send emails from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** using the outlook.com web interface.

Using the Outlook 2010 client, I can receive emails to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** 

BUT I cannot send emails since the other server rejects with the following error message:

"Sending reported error (0x800CCC0F): The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your service administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP). The server responded 550 5.7.3 Requested action aborted; user not authenticated'

I tried the SMTP setting with 
a) 587, TLS, 
b) 25, SSL

Both did not work.

Would be great if someone could help here.


Hi I have pretty creapy problem. I've set up email domain hosting for outlook.com on domains.live.com, but unfrotunately I forgot which account I used for the registration. So now I am not able to manage it. I've tried to contact MS technical support, had call with MS representative, but nobody can help me. The Catch22 situation, If I am not authorized with the account to which domain registration belongs, they can't help me.

Can anyone help me with this issue?
