When i contact the customer service for Outlook 2011 for MAC only, they say i now have to buy the full pack of Office for Mac Business 2011 which has the same WORD, EXCEL and PPT that i already have which are working perfectly fine.  I don't need to understand why i need to buy all 4 of them in a bundle and why cannot i just buy Outlook 2011 for MAC?   Every other company offers these programs individually. Why not Microsoft?  Why this restrictive bundling is being enforced on consumers???????? 

Am I the only one who's seeing this issue?

I have been locked out of my live account which I have had for the best part of 3 years. I believe this is because I had signed into my account on a new laptop. I have filled in the validation form. No success.
I have not heard back in 24 hours. I have been issued a reference number if needed.

The support for this is atrocious as seen in other similar posts. I have looked everywhere to find a contact number for HUMAN contact however everywhere you look, Microsoft points you in the direction of an automated robot system which is faulty and not good enough. (I have personal information, contact numbers and important emails on this account as well as being linked to my xbox account - How much do these things cost again? And no human service? Ridiculous)

In addition, the support team service was appalling as seen below. Nicholas closed the conversation with me rather than provide any help, the link he provided was a direct link BACK to the same support team (Giving someone else the problem)

For last 3 days i have been trying to work with Microsoft customer service to get access back for my hotmail account that has been hacked and is sending in appropriate messages to my contacts.

Please help, customer service has now pointed me to you and i really need to get this resolved so please please help.

i have tried to reset the password but the the hacker has changed the alternate address to something i dont know and the security question. I have tried proving the security answers and its keeps telling me to try again after 24 hrs.....

i have tried from IE, Chrome, Firefox etc. I have tried clearing caches and it still doesnt work
this is what I receive ALL the time when trying to get a old email to review.......... There was a problem with the Outlook service (a temporary network connectivity issue that has nothing to do with your computer).........This is one of many issues I am having and another is your customer service. Last time I told them that I updated my browser and I had downloaded Silverlight (microsoft) just like I was told to do. In response I got ...have you tried to upgrad your browser and downloaded silverlight! Obviously you guys don't care to much for what I just said I did or there is so many problems your facing that you guys are just numb the minute you start getting into the issues facing you for the day.

Either way this has been a ongoing problem and there are other issues that I won't bore you with since I cannot get ONE PROBLEM RESOLVED with microsoft outlook. You guys want to be number one in the industry and you cannot handle your communications system. That tells me that there is so much time spent back-slapping NEW ideas and hand shaking going on with new concepts. The problem is that it must be boring for Microsoft to solve customer service issues because I have read the forums and they are  going through it too. OUR EMAIL SYSTEM IS BROKE!!! There is a problem and so no one has a solution to it. WHY CAN'T WE AT LEAST HAVE SOMEONE TELL US THAT THIS WILL NOT BE TAKEN CARE OF SO WE CAN AT LEAST FIND OTHER WAYS TO EMAIL SOMEONE WITH OUT ISSUES.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yOU GUYS REALLY HAVE MISSED THE BOAT ON THIS. and I am the easiest going guy there is and you have no idea unless it happens to you that your email system has been giving you fits for over 8 months.

Lastly is there a new idea to fix my problem and many other customers too that I have read. How do you correct being able to look up old emails.
Your message I receive is right ...it is not my computer that is wrong, it is a temporary network connectivity issue that has lasted for over 8 months..

A few weeks ago I was blocked from my hotmail account due to apparent security issues, since then I have tried every option available to reclaim my account.

At first I filled out the form however wasnt sure about my answers, as i'm sure with alot of hotmail customers, I started this account so many years ago that I can not remember what I said, not to mention that I am living in a different country now, after explaining this I was advised I would be contacted within 24 hours to my boyfriends account with information to gain access.... nothing happened.

Then I had online chat assistance with two people, who said exactly the same thing, forms filled out again, no response....

After a phone conversation with customer service, I was advised that my case would be looked at by someone in another department who would be able to help me.... FINALLY A RESPONSE!!!

A response that sent me to this forum.... hardly a solution... when I replied to this person that I would like to speak with someone, and have one person look after this case as to not continue being passed from person to person as I had been this is the reply I received.

"As previously stated, the Microsoft Account Public Moderators can best address your concern. Due to this reason I am closing your case, and any future requests for this issue will not be responded to."

I am currently blown away with the ridiculousness of this operation and the 'service" I have received.. since logging onto this forum I can see that there are people everywhere finding this same situation, however nothing telling me how I can actually fix the problem.

Is there anyone out there who can help?? I have serious emails pertaining to my working visa's overseas as well as uni student emails that require immediate attention.

I made a MSN account years ago. At some point my password stopped working and I couldn't recover it through customer service even after being bounced from one person to another for an hour or so. I was forced to create another account. Recently I recovered the account through an improved customer service but found all of my emails, groups, documents etc had been deleted. How can I recover these?

 

I have been locked out of my account and have tried multiple times to reset it. i have recieved the emails saying you will be contacted within 24hours but i never have been. when i have spoken to customer service they just do the same thing, submit a new request and i never here anything again. I am desperate for access to my account as i have flights to catch this week and all the tickets and details are in there.
