While using my Hotmail and I try to access my file of CONTACTS. The resulting data presented is in the format of OUTLOOK which I don't have in my system. This prevents me from editing any contact legally within my system. My local software service center
is unable to help. This problem was installed by an automatic download by MicroSoft.
I moved "Microsoft User Data" so my emails are in the wrong path. Does anyone know how to restore them?

Outlook 2011 does not automatically import Data from Apple iCal and Apple addressbook despite the fact they are on the same Mac.KaiAmMac
HI thanks but what i mean is auto complete not auto correct.
this is the feature which gives us option to choose the email address out of the available ones by the same name after entering just first few characters of the person's name or email id in To, CC or BCC. any suggestions how i can get this feature to
work or reset, it was working fine when i was using outlook on my pervious mac book but after migrating all the data through time capsule to new one with retina, its not working
I was having problems opening Outlook 2011. When I was able to open it all my data was gone. I tried different identities in the identities folder but none of them have data. I do have saved identities in Time Machine -- how can I export these to get my old mail?

So my Macbook SSD is filling up quite fast.
Outlook main identity is currently consuming 7GB and i need to preserve as much space as possible.
Is there a data clean up or compression tool for the main identity folder like there was on the windows version ??
At what point will outlook start to slow down due to a large main identity folder ? or does it not have the same issues as the windows version does with all the information being stored in a single data file ?
Alternatively, there is 3.7G in the "message attachments" folder, can this folder be deleted occasionally or is this where outlook actually stores all the attachments that are downloaded within the emails themselves ?

I work with Excel and created a file with names and email addresses, then saved as csv file - comma delimited not Mac or Ms Dos - and use the import feature. It appears to work but then I cannot find the contacts in my directory. The csv file does have
the needed data in it. I know the column headings have to match the contact info in my email - perhaps this is the answer. I've tried different ways to save the info but not getting anywhere. Thanks!
I have set up my Windows Live Id to sync with my Windows Phone.
I have set up my Gmail Account loaded with all the contacts from my previous Android Phone. The contacts are shown in my Gmail Account properly.
I tried connecting my Windows Live Id with the Gmail account for importing the contacts. It showed success in connecting the Id. Also, it said it may take few minutes before importing data.
It was few days back and I am still waiting for the Contacts data to appear in my Windows Live Id.
I must say my experience so far with Windows Live has been very disappointing. Things are complex, confusing and designed to malfunction.
Can someone help with my problem??
