I have received an email on my hotmail that says immedicate attention needed or else I will lose my hotmail account forever, It asks me to fill in all this information including password and date of birth. Is this for real from Hotmail? I have copied adn pasted it below. Thanks so much.
IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED
- Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments. Then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them and your in-box will be that much smaller.
- Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your Hot mail account to immediately delete junk e-mail? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select Immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
- Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.
Unfortunately, in copying a contact file from my primary PC to a backup, I used a new file name (simply changing the date). Unfortunately, where I had 400+ contacts in the back-up to start, I now have 800+. Instead of replacing the old contact file when I imported an updated one, it added the 2nd contact file..............creating 400 duplicates. Any suggestions for an easy way to eliminate the duplicates? The "clean up contacts" button remains grey in color, and will not respond to a click.
A second question is -Can I go into the software and delete the 2nd file I imported? Let's say file #1 was named "backup10-11-12" and the second file was "backup10-15-2". Can I delete the latter to eliminate the duplicates?
is this a scam or what as i dont know and dont want my account shut down, they say last warning ,need account pass word, birth date and other personal info,it said from hotmail team.last warning or account will be lost.
im just a old 40 +year old mom that has only been using computer for 2 years, what should i do.
I've recently upgraded to a macbook retina complete with Mountain Lion and I've successfully installed Office 2011 (which I had before on my old macbook). I've got notes uploaded from the earlier version, I've got email working fine, Word and Excel seem OK, but I can't get anything to appear in calendar, neither historic stuff nor new entries that I add. I'm able to activate the new event button but when I save and close, nothing appears. I'm sure it'll be something dead obvious and simple, but I just can't work it out...........:(
