My windows 7 live mail is multiplying in my default account by 3 to 20. I have several email accounts set up in windows live and the default one is the only one with the problem, I now have 216,000 emails and growing. The cable company's tech support, says, it's not their program, it's Microsoft, called them. Microsoft says pay us $99.00 and we will help you fix the problem. Are you serious??? Why does it only affect the default, but not the other ones?
Original title: Windows live mail keeps multipling
I have transferred my Vista live mail to Windows 7 laptop.
I have 3 accounts and 3 storage folders, one for each account. But it appears Account A is the default for all 3 storage accounts because when I try to reply to a message stored in Storage Account B, Account A is the default account used but I want it to be Account B. Same with when I try to reply to a message stored in Storage Account C, Account A is the default account used but I want it to be Account C.
Of course, if the message stays in Accounts, the default reply account for each one is appropriate - it just happens when I reply from the storage ones.
When I tried to move Storage Account B to Account B, I got the above error message. Appreciate any help - thank you.
