I, as a parent, changed the password on my son's account some time ago but now can't remember it. He doesn't really use his hotmail. It is just the default address for his Facebook. A reset can't be sent to his phone as his old phone that it was attached
to no longer exists. Neither of us has used his account for a very long time and, as such, can't answer adequate recovery questions to have the password reset send to a different email. His Facebook defaults to this one hotmail account, which won't do him
any good if we can't get access to it. What do we do to recover a password? Too many attempts at guessing locks us out of course.
I've just created an alias (@hotmail.co.uk). When trying to send a new message, there is no arrow beside my default address to choose the alias as the 'sent from' address. Is there another setting I should change?
I have now fully switched from Entourage, bought Office 365 small business and am pretty happy. However with Office 2008 you had the choice of inserting either a default address or another into a Word Document such as an envelope or letter. Pretty normal
stuff.
Office 2011 only allows you to insert the default address chose in Outlook. You cannot make the choice in Word as you could before. So I have completely separate contacts now with business addresses and home addresses. It is the only way to do it I
guess. However when you insert a business address such as Steve Ballmer, Microsoft, blah blah blah, you only get Steve Ballmer, blah blah blah. No business name
Has anyone figured out how to get the company names in the inserted address?
Thanks.
In Entourage, the default email address for a recipient would be suggested first during composing. Outlook totally ignores this and seems (I haven't checked them all) choose the work address no matter what I have set in under contacts.
How can I get Outlook to actually chose the default recipient address which is what a default address is supposed to be?
Thanks.
Bill
I have 2 email addresses/accounts. I can only read/receive emails from the one that is set as the default address. How do I read/view/send emails from the second address without changing it to the default address. I know somehow I can have the 2 email
accounts listed on the left hand side of the page and click onto each address to send/receive address specifically for that account.
am using Office for Mac 2011. and I'm unable to add or modify the "default address format" in outlook.
I have about 10 countries with "default address format" (which was obviously imported from entourage as I had set them up there some years ago), but I need to create new ones for thailand and malaysia in my outlook address book. but I'm not able to do
anything. I've tried searching on the net, but am not finding anything that would help me resolve this issue.
help! and thanks. :o)
