Received may Delivery Service Notification Failure emails

I have received about 45 emails saying "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)'
When I open them, the message is :

 "This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

*** Email address is removed for privacy ***"

This is my email address, so it appears to be attempting to send an email to the same address that it is coming from.

his may be tied to the problem I had yesterday where I emailed myself some photos from my Verizon Wireless Phone and the same message came thru into my email account about 20 times.  Then I started getting all these Delivery Status Notifications.
