Situation:

Personal SkyDrive on my own tablet, Portable PC and desktop PC and also on the company Portable PC.

Question:

I install my Skydrive n all these PC's, but because I'm not the administrator on the company PC, the administrator can see, open and modify all my own files.

Is there a possibility to save the documents in the SkyDrive, so that you need a password before seeing the files on the drive?

Or a password on the different maps in SkyDrive, so that you need a password to open a map that is in the SkyDrive?

Thanks,

Regards,

Didier

I just purchased a new desktop PC.  My problem is that I need to transfer my Outlook Express email messages (sent & received) to the new machine without losing any of them.  I do not have any way of having both PCs hooked to the internet at the same time (i'll have to disconnect the old one before connecting the new one) so will have to be sure I can acess the old emails on the new machine.

Any help will be Greatly Appreciated!

Thanks

As per title line, cannot open outlook thru the above means but can open thru hotmail, can anybody help. Further info, this problem only occurs on desktop pc, everthing fine on laptop using the desktop icon or the Bing toolbar

I have been fussing with SkyDrive for several days. About at my wit’s end -- this should be simple, but ......

I have a desktop PC under Windows 7, and wife just bought a Surface Pro under Windows 8.

Our files are on the desktop.  I selected several important document folders and picture folders and copied them to the SkyDrive folder on my desktop.  I have changed a couple of Excel spreadsheets using files from their normal location on my PC.  Should I instead Open them from the desktop SkyDrive folder and Save them there also after updates are made?  Will that sync the changes from my desktop SkyDrive folder into my regular folders on my PC?  Also, even though I installed the SkyDrive app on my wife's Surface Pro, only the Pictures folder shows on her SkyDrive folder.  Why didn't mine sync to her tablet?
