I downloaded WLE to my desktop, it synced to my Laptop. Both are running Windows XP pro w/sp 3. The Photo Gallery works perfectly on the laptop, but is a mess on desktop. So I removed the desktop program in Add/Remove Programs, and reinstalled Live
Essentials on desktop. Now, in Program Files (C drive) the laptop shows 36.9 MB, but the desktop shows 68.7 MB. Why the difference? I never did manually install the program in laptop.
My Skydrive on 8.1 is now uploading 40GB of data, will probably be finished in a month!!
I had 2 partitions on my hard drive, one with Windows 7 and the other had all my SkyDrive folders synced with the desktop program that can be used with Windows 7.
I then wiped Win7 and installed Win8.1. I changed the location of the Skydrive folder to point to where the Skydrive folder was on the other partition that was in sync with my skydrive from the desktop skydrive program installed on Win7. Despite all the files being the same it is uploading all my files again!!
Anyone have any ideas how to stop this? I can't hardly use my computer because it's slowing it down and the internet!

So in outlook 2013 I go to file->add account
Choose manual setup(as the automatic option fails of course)
Choose the second option: outlook.com or exchange server etc
The next screen requires this info

two questions:
what is the mail server name?
is the user name the whole email address or just the blah section.
