i keep getting emails from my family and friends when i ask them they said they didnt send them so when i open them its a virus so how can i stop them

I’m currently using Windows Live mail 2011 and I have switched from Windows mail which had worked for me perfectly. However, upon switching to Windows Live mail 2011, I discover this error after several weeks of good usage. I have tried to narrow down the possibilities
of this error to a few below:
- My ISP is working fine, no issue. It worked well on my outlook - it can send and receive.
- Weeks after I switch from Windows Mail to Windows Live mail it worked very well - it can send and receive.
- I notice that on the top right hand corner,there is a sign in icon. Previously, I didn’t sign in and it still worked perfectly.
- I have tried wireless and wired connection,both worked perfectly online. Both allows my Windows Live mail to receive emails but I just can’t send emails out.
- I have tried to change SMTP to 567 but it didnt work.
- I have tried to windows update and did Windows Live Essential repair, restart WLM, delete emails from outbox, restart Laptop; but it still didnt work.
So it beats me why am I having this error.

the Post Office there to be told they didnt recognise the name Jane Brooks and didnt know of anyone in town by that name.Also Email was written in very poor english and the person seemed way to eager to proceed with transaction on any weekday but being familiar
with the town and knowing freight is only carried on Tuesday and Friday, I thought this was off!Your early response would be greatly appreciated.

i switched from hotmail to outlook last week
i passed the time where no old contacts appear offline, now all my contacts appear online
now, i added a new contact using my outlook address (she added me using the outlook address), but she never appears online to me. what's more, every time i log out and log in again, the contact disappears from my lists, and i have to add her again with
the same (un) success
i already tried the delete cache trick, but it didnt work
is there anymore i can try, or some reported bug for this?

hi i got 3 emails saying from windowslive-hotmail-uk 22/6/12 saying that my contact details seem to be tampered with and windows is unable to verify my details and require me to follow a link to confirm them. I didnt follow the link and just transfered
the messages to junk but was unable to report this a phising scam. is this something that has been reported widely today?
I received and email from Microsoft saying I won the lotery award, there is a file attached which I didnt open because I dont trust the email. I have a telephone account with orange france, so they are sending also this information to Orange company.
How can I know if is legal or a spam? I dont want to open the file.
