I would like to Export all emails and contacts from my Outlook for Mac to a USB drive so that it can be used in PC for Windows. I tried following the steps in Outlook, i.e. Export...to .olm files but I get faiure messages plus need to rebuild the Database using MS Database Utility. When I follow this instruction, after several hours it gives a message that the database cannot be rebuilt. I have important work related emails since 2003 which needs to be kept and transfered to my successor.
I have attempted to insert the disk into my new Macbook Pro Computer i just purchased. I will hear the disk run, and nothing happens after i insert the disk. THere are no prompts to follow and all my applications are closed. I have started the computer with the disk in and also with the disk out. I have attempted several times and i cannot get any prompts to follow along to install Office Mac. I have looked for the "office installer" icon but nothing is prompted.
THis cannot be that hard to do?

I don't understand how to fix this problem.  I lost my whole contact list where i would send messages in live mail.  I can't  seem to find it back.  I was trying to compose an email to a contact and I was not able to correct spelling errors or make any changes. I then lost the message and the entire content of the message that I had spent about an hour composing.  When I tried to start over I had no contact list to address  the message to so I could compoase a message.  I seem to have lost messages that I had not openned.  Yet. when I tried to look for help and customer service or tech service to ask questions about what was happening I was fustrated by not being able to find anything.  I don't  know what happened  and I don't know how to clean up what is left or if I  need to down load or buy new software.

I am working in on an XP system and trying to find the windows 7 disk that also came with the machine but I am not having any luck with the disk or how to find what I have to do to upgrade to windows 7.  I think I need to go back to a typewriter because when this screws up I can't get it fixed.

Where do I find information on how to fix something that is wrong and happend slow long ago I don't I don't know when the problem occured.  i don't even know how I got into this box to write this message.   If  anyone answeres this I will probably never find were their  answer is and the information is and what I need to do get this part of the software working again.

As a stockholder in this corporation I do not know how our customers put up with this lack of service and support  or help when the thing breaks.  He I am several weeks after the mess up and I never could find out how to fix my software so I can communicate wtih previous contacts any more.   It is kind of come down to throw the computer away and go buy a new computer and hope I can figure out  Windows 8 so I can use the internet and email again.

I guess I need to give up trying to write code for Access applications.

I know hackers accessed my email again, after I changed my password the first time...(more hacker emails were sent). I've changed it twice since but have no idea whether this is actually stopping them from accessing my email account? (I've also done hard disk scans, deleted cookies, checked firewall....) I have the free version of hotmail, I can't find any live person to talk to at MSN...... Any advice about what I should do is appreciated!
Trying to install SP 1 for Office for MAc 2011 and get the message "Office 2011 14.1.0 update can't be installed on this disk. A version of the software required to install this update was not found on this volume. Any ideas?
I'm not sure if this is caused by SP2 or not, but I'm concerned over disk usage by Outlook 2011.

My message attachments folder has swelled to 100gb!

I run exchange with a mailbox of 10gb.

I do keep archive PST's on my macbook but the total size of those is 100gb. Those are archived in a master PC (windows) and I copy them to my macbook for ease of access.

Can anyone explain why this is? I regularly archive my mail every 45 days, but this folder seems to have attachments from well before that.

Version is 14.2.2.

Hi,

I have windows 7 home premium (64 bit) OS
Memory 4GB
Hard disk 500 GB

& other processor, resolution and so as required.

I have windows live essentials 2011 and I can't play games with any of my contacts . I get this screen -->>http://i49.tinypic.com/2e2ikye.png

I don't have those problems listed in that page (as the things that i may have trouble with). Also my internet explorer browser (latest) works fine.

I have tried doing the following things to fix my issue though not really worked.

1) Clearing contact cache
2) Repairing all windows live programs.

I even reinstalled windows live essentials.

I found it when i searched for my problem on google & i have tried those 2 few times & then restarting the laptop. UNFORTUNATELY, nothing worked!. Problem is still
there as it was.

I hope someone would help me with this problem .
Thank you.

I am attempting to import Windows Live Mail messages into a new computer, but it refuses to do it! The details are as follows..............

The source is the hard disk from a crashed Acer laptop. The machine is irreparable, and WinXP will not boot in any mode. So I coupled the hard disk to a borrowed laptop running Win 7 Ultimate, and used Ubuntu to find my data on the hard disk from the crashed Acer. I found and copied my data, and using a memory stick transferred them to the destination - my new Asus laptop running Win 7 Home Premium. This was successful, and I can read documents, spreadsheets, etc, using Libre Office. Wonderfull!

I used the same Ubuntu software to locate my email files, and copied them to the memory stick. Looking at the properties on the borrowed Win 7 Ultimate laptop, all seems to be in order - I can see folders, and the files have .eml extensions as expected.

But when I plug the memory stick into the new Asus, and try to import into WLM, it fails, saying either there are no files (there are!) or that they are in use by someone else ( no!) But as I look at the properties now on the memory stick connected to the new Asus, all the files have lost their .eml extensions, and now have new extensions like 00000001, 0000000A, 000000078, etc..... So I guess WLM says no files because they have all lost their .eml extensions.

It may be relevant that the old Acer was running XP Pro, 32 bit, the borrowed Win 7 Ultimate machine is 32 bit, and the new Asus Win 7 Home Prem is 64 bit. Incidentally, I have checked and the default file extension for WLM is .eml (but it is greyed out.)

I really need these old emails, so I will be extremely gratefull if anybody can help me to fix this issue and get the emails transferred.

I am on a Mac working in a corporate environment on an Exchange server.

I've been getting an error (-19999 Permission Error) that's crushing my processor - it's looping and bogging everything down. I rebuilt my Identity but that didn't solve it. I also did the Disk Utility permissions repair. Neither solved it.

Would anyone know the route I should go for a fix?

Thanks very much.
