display of listed emails in my windows live mail 2011 has completely changed since having windows 7 re installed any ideas to get back to my simple listed emails displayed in date received/sent order?

Description:
When opening an email from the left pane in the hotmail inbox, the email displays with the object of the email at the top of the header. However the details of the header are always hidden. One can access the details of the header by clicking on the Show details arrow.
Example:
Senders name
The details From/Sent/To are always hidden. It is rather frustrating having to manually show the details every time one opens an email.
Query:
a) How can we always display the details of the header?
b) If impossible, it would be great to enhance the interface by adding a feature to always display the header details in the section Options>>More options...>>Reading email

My messenger account was hacked. The person changed my display name, picture and posted an obscene url link. It looked like a bot because it took 5 password changes to get rid of it. My profile looks like my name and picture are correct,
but friends tell me the name is still showing the one the hacker changed. I don't see it anywhere in my settings. How do I fix it?
I have now been trying for a while to get my contacts in messenger showing their display pictures again but don't seem to be able to do it.
Using Windows 7, have uninstalled, re-installed, have cleared contacts cache - wondering whether there is anything else I can do.
