Hi, I need to change the dob on my xbox360 gamer tag as I set it up with a dummy dob which made it a child account, which I stupidly wasn't bothered about at the time. Now I want to play an 18 game (battlefield 4) and can't. Can you let me know if this
is possible. I'm 32 btw. Thanks

Hi there,
I mistakenly put the DOB to my account resulting as a child. Not having a US bank account, I tried twice the fax sending option to verify that I am an adult, but not successful. What else can/should I do to change that damn DOB. I would appreciate a direct
support, because standard form support is not working for me :(.

I recently created a live.com email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) to set up a Microsoft Account for my new Nokia Lumia mobile phone. However, I accidentally added the days date into the DOB tab instead of my DOB (29th Sept 1967). It is now asking me get my email
address verified by an adult before I can access the account.
Without undertaking this parental verification step, I am unable to get into the account settings in order to modify my DOB details on the account or delete the account. My phone has automatically used this email address in my Microsoft Account and as
I cannot modify or delete the account I am unable to download any aps until I complete the parental verification stage.
I tried contacting a live assistant but they were unable to help. I would be very grateful if you were able to resove this issue.
Kind regards, Andrew
I have just set up a new hotmail address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) with my correct DOB in order to undertake the parental verification but when trying to complete this task, the following error message is appearing;
"Our system is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
If the problem persists, please contact customer support.

I need to change my daughter's date of birth on her account, but it's disabled. I tried going through Family Safety, but I don't see the option there either.
How can I achieve this?
The date is causing problems with using the droid Outlook.com application for her phone, so she can't see our shared Outlook.com calendar.
Thanks.
I am very computer-challenged and just need someone to reassure me that all this personal info (including DOB, address, passwords, etc...) that I'm being asked to forward is legitimately from OUTLOOK and not some scam artist.
I received an e-mail (in french) from Outlook (I think) saying I risk losing my e-mails - if I don't answer within 48 hours .
(I have hotmail.ca and a hotmail.com e-mail accounts).
Since it took me a very long time to find this forum and hopefully add this question in the right place - I ask that you reply to my e-mail address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) - otherwise I may never find your reply. Pls. keep it simple as I don't know all the techie lingo - and I'm not a kid.
Thanks, Kathy
Hi All!
I accidently changed DOB of my profile to year 2000 and I have been locked out of my Windows Live account since because the system thinks I'm a child.
Anyone who has the similar issue is usually presented 3 options to fix the problem through this link.
Unfortunately, as I came across so many posts from different people, (including myself) we all tried these 3 options without getting result.
I would like to ask if you have had this issue and got it fixed somehow, could please share the information/solution here openly? It would greatly help me and many, many other people.
Thank you very much!

Hello Cliff,
My name is Okkanym. I have accidentally, as other users have explained under the thread entitled "DOB is incorrect and unchangeable", changed my date of birth to 2013 and am unable to access my account, because it became a child account without a parent
administrator and I am an adult, using my account for the past 7 years.
I am creating a new thread because the option to "reply" to the existing one is grey.
I understand the procedure of the fax that you have explained. However, due to the long wait and delay, would you be able to expedite the process? And/or are there other procedures I can take?
I will appreciate a prompt response, as I am unable to access my email.
Regards,
Okkanym
