Can’t edit draft on different computer

I create a draft email on one computer and sync that to the IMAP email server.  Later I sync from a different computer and open the draft email but I cannot edit it.  I'm guessing the email now has headers with 'sent' status even though it was only sent to be stored  on the server's drafts folder.

This seems rather silly - if an email is in the drafts folder I expect to be able to edit it.

Mail sent from live.com accounts fail when using Windows 8.1 machine

When I use this Windows 8.1 machine and log in using any of my live.com accounts all attempts to send mail are sent to the Drafts folder. When I go into the Drafts folder I observe all mail continues to display text for a subject but all body text and who the mail was being sent to has been stripped out of the message.

I am able to send and receive using the same live.com accounts when logged in from a Windows 7 machine.

An email is stuck in Drafts folder. If I delete, it keeps reappearing.

I have two different Exchange accounts I use for work (we'll call them Account A and Account B.)

There is a message that appears in the Drafts folder of Account A, which I wish to delete. Every time I delete the message, however, it reappears a few minutes later no matter what I do. I have tried:

• Deleting the message

• Shift-Deleting the message

• Opening the Draft and Sending the message.

• Rebuilding the Database/Identity for the account.

• Completely removing Account A from Outlook and re-adding it.

What may be causing the problem is that, for some reason, it is indicating that Account B is the author of the draft, even though the message appears in the Drafts folder of Account A. That may be what is confusing Outlook, but I have no idea how that happened, or how to undo it so I can finally delete this message.

Outlook 2011 issues wtih Exchange 2007 since updates

Hi,
I have a couple of clients both using Outlook 2011 on their mac's which have been connecting to exchange without issue until last week when some updates were applied to the exchange server.
Now their outlook will connect/disconnect from exchange every few seconds and when trying to send an email they are deposited directly into the drafts folder.
The issue occurs both while in the office and connected to the domain, and also when trying to send mail from an outside connection using http proxy connection for exchange.

Server is running Windows Server Standard SP2
Exchange is version 8.03.0342.000 with Rollup 12 installed

The updates applied to exchange just before the issues arose are: (aside from definition updates)
KB2893984
KB890830

Is it likely for any of these to affect the connectivity for macs?  Does anyone else have another suggestion?

Cannot delete email from my drafts folder

I have a blank message in my drafts folder of my windows mail which I can't delete. It is giving me the message 'An unknown error has occured'. I can't even move the mail to another folder. I also can't send any emails from my windows mail and I think the 2 could be related?? Please help

Whenever I save a draft message in Storage Folders/Drafts, WLM generates a new copy (a new instance) of the message. Thus, if you have 10 corrections/updates of that message, you end up with 10 new copies of that message in the Drafts folder. How can we get rid of this stupid annoyance? Why can't WLM just keep the latest version of the message?

How do I recover a lost draft email message ? Outbox messages disappear and are not stored anywhere !

Hello,

 

I've accidentally deleted an important message I was working on in my Draft folder using Hotmail/Outlook on Iphone 4s. It is not showing up in the Deleted Items folder. Is there any way I can recover it?
 

Since today morning I've face several problems with sending emails it gets stuck in the outbox untill and suddenly disappears and are neither stored in the deleted items folder or back in the drafts folder! Believe me i've checked even the restoring email function to get deleted emails back but it's not there and also tried to remove my hotmail and restart the iphone and configurate it all over again but nothing could be found! and i've send several emails that have disappeared afterwards too ! Somehow it doens't synch or gotta be something with the server. every email slows down and gets stuck in the outbox for ages!

 

I was just teasing my boyfriend and send him some email and conversations but he never got them and i can't find those emails anyware!!!!

 

Please help me with this issue! I'd more than glad and thankful if you could answer me in a private thread !

Deleted email drafts return when I restart Outlook

Running Outlook for Mac 2011 with 7 AT&T POP accounts. Using just one of these accounts I created 3 messages that I ended up saving in the Drafts folder, the oldest created in May 2013. I eventually did send one of the messages and deleted the other 2. Here's my problem. When I start Outlook it again has these 3 emails in the Drafts folder and opens them.

So I delete the open drafts and then delete the drafts in the Drafts folder. BUT, when I restart Outlook these 3 drafts reappear in the Drafts folder and are opened.

I've also tried changing the recipient for one of these drafts and emailing it, but it still reappears when I restart Outlook.

I could see where I might have some sort of synchronization problem if these were IMAP accounts, but they're POP and are not used on any other PC's in the house. I've looked at the AT&T account on the Yahoo server, and these emails are not in the drafts folder on the server. I'd have to conclude that somehow they are being retained by Outlook on my Mac.

Cannot sync draft folders/emails between outlook.com & iphone POP

I want to know if it is possible to write an email on outlook.com, save it to drafts, then open it, edit and send from my iphone. Currently when I do this the drafts written from my computer do not sync with the drafts folder on my iphone at all. I can do this with other email providers like yahoo and email no problem: write them on one device, then send with another.

I have tried updating, logging in and out of both devices to refresh etc, but it seems impossible.
