When I click new to begin composing a new message, then start typing the letters of the contact whom I want to send a message to,
an old contact name appears in the drop down menu. I deleted this contact months ago, but it keeps popping up. When I search for this contact in my contacts file, it is not there, so I am unable to delete it. How can I remove it?

I have used the "sweep" drop down menu to set rules to specify words in spammers' e-mail addresses which are supposed to cause the spam to be deleted.
The rule doesn't work - the spam shows in the inbox or in the junk mail folder. Why isn't it deleted like the rule says it's supposed to be?

I have added 5 new contacts to a group (already existing), but these do not appear when I select that particular group in the drop down catorgories when I am sending a new group e mail. Where are they? This new ' people' file does not seem to integrate
properly with my email.

Re https://snt002.mail.live.com/mail/contacts.mvc -- I edited 3 of my groups in the drop down arrow in left column, adding and deleting contacts from groups. Also working with individual contacts, I deleted some names completely (I thought). I double-checked
my work by reviewing the group lists as well as the group attributions of each individual contact. Taking precautions, I deleted history and restarted my browser. Then I distributed messages to my groups. After sending, I reviewed the distribution lists.
To my horror, addresses I had deleted were listed and had received a message I did not intend them to receive! Rechecking the lists in "people" these don't show up! What gives??? How can I be assured that changes I've made are really made? And why is there
a discrepancy between the "people-group" list, and the list attached to my sent message?? I'm angry and frustrated!

Hello
I, too, am facing a problem today with 'contact'
In the past I could create a group of contact, give it a name and save it.
Today, after I click on 'contact' on the left pane, I get a page with a new look. Near the top, there is a drop down menu called 'Manage' that leads you to the groups you already have, and a "+" sign to add a new group.
That, you can do. The problem is that there is no way to add names/emails to the new group.

To: box looks like a drop down list that does not allow me to see what I am posting in it;
text formatting icons missing / distorted.
Is there something wrong with hotmail.co.uk today?

When I go to my contact list the drop down list does not appear and a small revolving circle appears instead. Any ideas.
