I added a new contact but when I want to send an e-mail to that contact it doesn't appear in the drop down menu. What can I do?

I have grouped contacts together but can't see how to edit those groupls. Half an hour trying to do what was easy before recemt hotmail changes. Now I click on 'hotmail' and select 'contacts' from the drop down menu, then click on 'all contacts' (beneath
'people') and find the group of contacts that I want to edit. I click on the group and the list of people within that group duly appear. Then I look at the options lined up next to 'people' which look promising ie 'new', 'manage' (and 'send mail') and
spend about half an hour exploring the drop down and going round in circles because none of those menus add one of my contacts to the group. I tried looking for standard instructions to no avail. It's probably easy and obvious to everyone except me, so
please HELP ! Thanks.
previous versions had that option in the 'privacy' tab in the 'tools' drop menu.

I have added new contacts to my people list. I have added them to a group by using the drop down and checking the group. Now hotmail will not recognize the new contact nor the group when typing the name in the To: bar on the email message. Did I set
something up incorrectly? Help! Thanks.

I'm trying to add contacts to my contact list and add a group. When I click on the people button all I get is another drop down menu that includes outlook, skydrive, messenger, contacts and calendar. I can't find any button that states manage or add
a group or categories. Nor can I find and add contact button. Some help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Thank you.

A frequent contact has changed their email address and I can't add it to the "To" dropdown menu even though I have added it to the Contacts list. Tell me how to delete the old email address from the "To" drop down list and add the new one to the drop
down list.

After changing the email address of a friend and saving the information, when sending a new email, on the drop list of email addresses the old address still appears. How do I correct this?

The address in the drop down list is incorrect and the address in my contacts is correct. How do I fix this?

In using the new contact listing, I hit new to add in a new contact. I put in the appropriate information with the email address and hit save. It saves it as a new contact or in the contact list there. When I go back to hotmail and hit on new to sent
an email the person is not showing there under my contacts in the drop down to click on and send an email to that person. How can this be fixed. I did not have any issues with the old system which worked wonderful, but this new system is very slow, archaic
and not user friendly at all.
