I saved my PST file in Dropbox and pointed OUTLOOK to it in all my 7 PC (Home & Office PC reading room, lawn, conference room etc.) and any computer I open I see all my mails as I left in any of my computers. It has immensely enhanced my working life without
limitation since all my other office files are also stored in Dropbox. I just open any PC and I am in a working mode. A PC just needs to be connected with the Dropbox. I have complete control over all my E-mails of more than last14 years.
Sadly I cannot to the same with my Mac as a result despite all its beauty I cannot use my Mac as often as I want.
Can anyone PLEASE tell me how I can see all my outlook emails both in a PC and a Mac from the Dropbox or …?

When will Microsoft make it easy to share files on Skydrive? On Dropbox you can view the whole account with a collegue or friend, without having to individually send each file which is time consuming and just daft when you are sitting with someone or trying
to have a phone meeting and need to be seeing the same thing. Very dissapointing! Thought Skydrive would be a step up, but it's not! Dropbox much better- when will Microsoft catch up?
If you work on a file in Dropbox, it automatically uploads the new data.
The MS instructions I am reading say I have to click on a file, open, then upload it to Skydrive......
I do have the app on my desktop, but it not showing the the taskbar like Dropbox where I can view the "action".
Also, does the Version update automatically?
If there is a better tutorial for this, please send the link.
thanx for help
In DropBox on my computer, I am able to right click on a document and select "Share DropBox Link". I can then paste that link into my project management software. I cannot seem to find a similar simple way to do this on SkyDrive. Am I missing something?
Since 8/15/13 my outlook.com account is not receiving emails--it doesn't generate a "bounce" message to the sender, either. I tested this after I spotted the problem only yesterday. I tried to share a dropbox folder and dropbox was unable to verify my
email account--repeatedly. I thought it might be a problem with dropbox, but later I tried to recover a password from an old gmail account and that got the same result. I've duplicated the problem with several browsers, including mobile browsers and specific
apps. Exactly the same result every time. I see several similar threads here--an honest description of the problem, which appears to be on the Microsoft end of the process, would be very helpful. I've checked everything I can from here, and I've purged and
reinstalled the outlook.com app on my phone and tablet. I've changed my password in the process. I've sent test emails from another outlook.com account as well--same result. Nothing shows up in the target inbox, no bounce message. The only indication of a
problem is that the email doesn't arrive. If I didn't have multiple email accounts I'd have had to wait until some sender got ticked off enough to call me or something. Not good. Better communication would be nifty--but that isn't something Microsoft is known
for. Maybe a twitter account similar to the microsofthelps account that just posted outages or known issues. That would at least help those of us with Twitter accounts. So where are we on this? I really need that account to work, obviously, but I understand
stuff happens and there is a large user base involved. A solution would be best, but information will do in the mean time. Bill Morgan Way the **** out and gone in NM
Is there a way that my files uploaded to skydrive (usually photos from my phone, sometimes office files) can be automatically downloaded to my other devices without having to do anything... like dropbox? in my opinion skydrive isn't better than dropbox
and doesn't 'free my files' like microsoft says it does. it's actually much more of a hassle because it seems like files are sometimes in the cloud, sometimes not with skydrive. whereas with dropbox you know that once that icon turns green, they are on that
device just like any other file. that dropbox green icon gives you piece of mind whereas you don't know where you are with skydrive.
So if i want to post a pic or two to fb, it's so much easier just browsing to my dropbox folder and picking the pictures. with skydrive, it posts a link to fb which seems awkward and clunky. i want the pictures to just be there... not some link to another
site (skydrive) with some long, weird filename. can't microsoft just make it easy??
is there a setting in skydrive on my tablet (RT) and my notebook (Win 8) so that the files just download? ... just like dropbox .. and not clunky and difficult? It sort of works on my notebook, but it just seems so slow.. unlike dropbox which seems to be able
to sync by the time i have booted up..
And if not, why not?
I had a bad experience after I did system restore. Some of my files in Sky Drive has gone away... I use dropbox and skydrive both, but some how files in dropbox which are almost upto couple GBs still are being downloaded. It's to be seen whether all my
dropbox files are alive or not. Anyway, my 'very very' important documents have gone away.... I wish I knew this before than I would have not done the system restore.. sign... windows 8...
I am currently having somewhat of a debate with our Marketing Director on whether to use Skydrive or Dropbox and have a few questions that aren't very clear from the searching Ive done online.
Can I share a file via a link in an email without the recipient requiring a skydrive account. I can do this with Dropbox?
Are there plans to allow for more than 100GB with Sky Drive. Dropbox has better options for storage.
Is there selective syncing available? Meaning can I select the files to sync.
Reviews appear to show Dropbox being a bit faster uploading/syncing files. Any comments are appreciated.
Is there only a 2GB limit on uploading file.
Does it Keep track of last person to change file?
Security, what would be considered more secure Dropbox or Skydrive and Why?
When i started using SkyDrive I was allocated 7GB free capacity.
My needs exceeded the 7GB so i upgarded to 20GB. That worked well for the most part except once when the SkyDrive desktop app failed. There was no warning that it had failed and I continued working which resulted in the sync status turning into chaos, which
took me days to fix.
Earlier this week I received a message that my SkyDrive was full. I logged into my account and it showed that i had capacity exceeding 12GB. However, I was afraid of losing data so I immediately signed up for the 50GB package. My account showed that i had 57GB
available.
A few minutes later I was presented with a message that my SkyDrive was full. I logged into my account and the capacity was shown as 57GB. I then logged into my account using my laptop and the capacity was shown as 7GB. Two computers, same account, two different
capacities.
I refreshed my browser and the capacity chnaged. I realised that the capacity was toggling between 57GB and 7GB. I was now in real danger of losing all of my data, so i immediately moved the data to the trusted DropBox.
I have screen shots of my 50GB purchase. Why was the capacity removed?
I also have a SkyDrive Pro facility which I have chosen not to use because the sync feature is so unstable.
As is clear above, I do use DropBox in conjunction with business partners. DropBox was their choice but my observation is that it works flawlessly. I have never experienced a sync or capacity problem with DropBox.
I have been a Microsoft supporter for 30 years and entrusted my precious data to Microsoft by default. Misguided thinking? Is our data safe in SkyDrive???????
If my comments seem harsh, then read posts on this forum and other internet locations.
I need this problem fixed and some robust convincing or my money back.
