I have missed some email attachments due to overlooking the addition of the scrollbar in the message. I know that I can also hover over the message icon to get an attachment count, but it isn't habit since I usually don't receive multiple attachments. To prevent this in the future, I've set an alert for all email messages with attachments (overkill!) until I can train myself to look for these hidden (to me) attachments, but I really wish there were an easier way to catch these.
Using Live Mail, attachments to emails sent over a couple of weeks ago are no longer available to open even though there was no problem opening them when the email first arrived.
All I am seeing is the rotating circle of dots as if the program is trying to search for the attachment
Hello;
I just sent an email through my Hotmail Outlook account. I sent an attachment with it. I also saved a copy of the email to my "sent" folder. When I viewed the email in my sent folder to see how my attachment would be viewed it looks as if it sent all of my document folders and not just the attachment I intended to send...is it possible? Is it possible that the recipients of my email will now have access to all of my documents on my computer and not just the attachment I sent? Thanks.
My problem is now I cannot receive email. The sender gets a Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 Mailbomb Target message.
The attached message reads:
Reporting-MTA: dns;SNT0-MC3-F31.Snt0.hotmail.com
Received-From-MTA: dns;mail-pa0-f48.google.com
Arrival-Date: Wed, 21 Aug 2013 13:10:45 -0700
Final-Recipient: rfc822;<my email account address>
Action: failed
Status: 5.5.0
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 Mailbomb Target
Does this mean I've been flagged somehow? Do I have to wait until tomorrow to get email? How do I clear this up?
