I want to be able to set up  number of mail groups (for different age groups at a junior football club) but I don't want to import all of the email addresses into my address book as specific contacts. However if I create a group in Outlook.com and then paste the email address into it and then save it I get the message that there are no contacts in this group! How can I create mail lists/groups where I don't have to have all of the email recipients set up as my contacts as I have over 300 members of the club that I do not want set up with my own personal contacts?
I'm trying to migrate my organization's email from Gmail to Outlook.com, and we need to create an email group called support@<my organization>. The email group will then email people within my organization. It's like an email alias?

I can't seem to figure out how to do that with Outlook.com. I went to domain.live.com, and I can't find where groups are created there. I then created a new account called *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and tried to do email forwarding, but Outlook.com only supports one email address.

Is this feature supports?

Instead of having each email separate all email to one person are now grouped together and the entire group is sent each time a new email is sent. For example I send Sam an email and even if I don't reply from the original email if I send him another email it will be grouped with the first email and resent throughout all my emails to Sam unless I delete the first one. How can I prevent this from happening. sometimes I don't want all conversations sent should I want to forward an email from Sam to Sue all my emails from Sam will got to Sue and I may not want sue to see some of my email to Sam.

About the old version of hotmail, will you change my settings back to the old from the new outlook format. I am unable to add contacts to my groups. How do I add a name/contact to my already existing group

Hi,

I have an email group for my bookclub from which I have deleted 3 email addresses and this was working correctly.  Recently, however, if I email using this group address (it's called "4-bookclub") it is finding the old list of email addresses  and sending it to those, including the 3 email addresses which are no longer in the group.  Note that if I expand the group in the To box by clicking the + next to its name, the correct address list appears, it's only if I send the email with just the group name in the To box, unexpanded, that this problem occurs.

Why is Hotmail using the old version of the group, not the current one?

Thanks,

Saritha

I am a NEW Windows 8 User.  I previously used Vista with Windows Mail.  I am not a Business.  For years I have had Email Groups to Friends & Family.  Today, I sent my first email to one of my Groups, and Hot Mail would not send it.  Why do I even need Hot Mail?  I know that a Microsoft Employee spent nearly 3 hours to set up my new mail account.  My Primary email address is (removed by the moderator)  Some how my wife's name, Jo, has become the primary sender.  That is incorrect.  We have other email addresses that are all linked to this account.  They are (removed by the moderator); and (removed by the moderator).  I cannot function with limits on my email groups beyond what I have had during the past 6-8 years.  Please call me at (removed by the moderator)or (removed by the moderator)so this problem can be solved...JERRY CUDNEY (removed by the moderator)

I need to send emails regularly to the same bunch of people. Can I set up a group, like you can do in Outlook?

I was advised to start a new thread for this issue, so here it is (I hope)!
