I've recently moved all my personal email to Hotmail and I'm getting responses from Spamcop to say that the email server I'm using is being blocked as its been reported as sending spam:
- These recipients of your message have been processed by the mail server:
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***; Failed; 5.3.0 (other or undefined mail system status)
Remote MTA mail.02.net: network error
- SMTP protocol diagnostic: 550 mail not accepted from blacklisted IP address, see: http://spamcop.net/bl.shtml [65.20.0.50]
I realise that the server may be off the blacklist in 24 hours or so, but its very inconvenient. How can I escalate this and what is Microsoft doing to prevent this?
Thanks

I have it setup so that my emails stay on my email server for 7 days before Live mail deletes them. So I did go to my email server and found the email there. I tried to find a way to get Live Mail to retrieve that email again. I tried marking it as unread, then marked it as flagged - neither of these worked.
So how can I get Live mail to download that email again? I was able to forward it to another of my email addresses and I have it, but now it's listed as an email from me, instead of an email from my client. So in the future I won't be able to find that email if I sort my old emails by the client's name.
I know if I delete that email account it will then download all the emails on my server, but that sure is a time consuming way to do this. I wouldn't mind if I could trick it into downloading all the emails on my email server. What other solutions are there?

- Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments. Then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them and your in-box will be that much smaller.
- Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your E-mail account to immediately delete junk e-mail? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
- Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.

I can send email but cannot receive email on one of my accounts. During the receive I get Server Error 0x8000CCC90. I can receive and send email on another account on the same server. Both accounts are configured the same way. Had Frontier tech support work on it for an hours or so can't get it to work.
here the errors:
Unable to send or receive messages for the users Email account. The email server returned an error.
Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR [SYS/TEMP] problem retrieving message.
Server: 'pop3.frontier.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC90
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
With setting exactly the same I can pull this account down on another computer but cannot pull the other account down. Turned off the firewall still no help. Changed to port 995 and also redid passwords still nothing.
How do I migrate existing emails from my old email server to my new custom domain Hotmail accounts?
I can't figure out how to do it.
