I created an email group in hotmail but I am unable to delete or add to group it doesn't show my group name but is is listed in my To: when I am sending a n email

I had to form new email groups when I was switched becaue I couldn't find my old groups in the contacts.  When I send email using the new groups, people that were in the old groups are receiving the email, yet their names are not showing in the new group list.  Where are the old groups?  I've tried deleting some contacts completely, but they're still receiving my emails. Others, I've put in new groups, yet they're still receiving the emails of their old groups.  How can I pull up my old contact list and edit the email groups?

If i close my Hotmail account.
Can someone else register under the same email account name and receive my emails? such as websites ive registered to in the past?
Or is that email "retired" for a lifetime?
when creating a new email message I begin to type the address and the auto complete list is detached from the To box dropdown.  Also when I move the email message window up the list disappears all together.  If I bring the email message window down the list appears inches above the email message window.  I want the list to default to dropping down from To box dropdown.
i have not been able to send an email or reply to an email since November 12, 2012.  when will this problem be fixed?  thanks,  Kim
I recently added an AOL email account to 2011 Outlook for Mac.  I have a similar Earthlink email account which also has been set up in Outlook.  When emails are transferred from AOL to Outlook they are not removed from the AOL server.  Emails are removed from the Earthlink server when transferred to Outlook.  In Outlook Preferences, Accounts, Advanced the box is unchecked for "Leave a copy of message on server" for both accounts.  Why are emails removed from the Earthlink server and not from the AOL server?
Why do I have to long in with email address and password everytime to see my messages?  Until a few days ago I only had to open Hotmail and I would be in on my office desktop computer.
