How do I display multiple accounts in navigation pane?

I have Exchange and POP email accounts. In Entourage I could have a folder for each account within the Navigation pane. I've not been able to find instructions for getting more than the default account (the Exchange acct) to show in the Navigation pane. I do not want to create another Identity. Right now I cannot figure out how to view mail in any of my 3 POP accounts. These accounts were imported from Entourage 2004 into Entourage 2008 and then into Outlook 2011. According to Tools > Accounts these POP accounts do exist within Outlook, but they are not showing up in the Navigation pane. When I'm in hte Accounts folder I notice that only the Exchange account has a green button next to it. How does one get a green button for the POP accounts (if that is what is needed to make them active in Outlook).

How do I import my Entourage 2004 files (rge format) to Outlook 2011 (olm format))

Can no longer send mass emails since switching from Entourage to Outlook 2011

I switched from Entourage 2004 to Outlook 2011 and can no longer send mass emails. My outgoing mail server says there is no limit on my account and I never had a problem with mass emails before the switch. I tried switching ports, outgoing mail servers, but since the problem only started when I switched to Outlook, it seems there may be a setting or a workflow I am not aware of. I send out a newsletter every 2 weeks to 2500 recipients and can only send in batches of 25 at a time.
Help!

Constantly rebuilding the database in Outlook 2011 for Macintosh

I have a user running OS X 10.6.8 and Office 2011 for Mac Outlook v. 14.2.3 . Previously this user was on Entourage with Office 2008 for Mac. We are using an Exchange 2007 server. This user is on a MacPro.

The problem is the user is frequently getting messages that the Outlook database needs to be rebuilt. When then problem started this happened once a month. This became once a week and now is several times a week, if not daily.

Sometimes it happens when they open Outlook, other times it happens after they have been using Outlook for several hours.

Does anyone know what is causing this? What can be done to stop this from reoccurring?

problems importing entourage 2008 identity to Outlook 2011

Hi - I recently had a Hard disk fail on my Macbookpro - 2010 model - that was running Snow Leopard.

The data was able to be saved from the disk and copied on to an external backup drive, and a new hard disk put in the notebook.

Given that they installed Lion on the new hard disk i decided to upgrade to Office 2011 at the same time, now when i come to import the main mail identity to outlook 2011, it finds the folder on the external hard disk ok, but then instead of saying importing mail/etc - it just says all imported (impossible its 5GB of data) and click finish to use outlook.

Help -i have alot of emails and contacts on there that are needed!

Outlook is default, but emails created via word appear in Entourage

I have Outlook as my default email client, yet when I send a doc as an attachment via Word the email is created in Entourage. How do I resolve this issue as the tick box option to make Outlook the default client has been selected.

Selecting a group of emails

In Entourage 2008 when I viewed a folder using Show in Groups, I could select a heading (Today, Yesterday, etc.) and it would select all the emails in that heading. This was very useful. Why isn't this feature included in Outlook?

I have a friend that recently upgraded from Entourage to Outlook for Mac and is unhappy with one aspect of the new program.

In Entourage, when opening an email message it would display the sender's email address. For Example:

From: Apple <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

Now, in Outlook, it simply displays:

Apple

Is there a way to display the sender's email address as in Entourage? She is unhappy with Outlook and now wants to change back but I can't seem to find a way to migrate backwards without losing all of her emails and her contacts!

(unfortunately, notes in contacts did not import clearly, often jumbled, so I have to go back to Entourage to paste them into Outlook)

Starttls problem upgrading to Outlook 2011 from Entourage 2008

I upgraded from Entourge 2008 to Outlook 2011 (gmail is mail host) and now I get the starttls error for outbound messages (can receive just fine). But there is no where to set TLS as an option - only SSL, which doesn't work. Any ideas?
