I am having a nightmare experience trying to synch my files to SkyDrive. One recurring problem is that SkyDrive keeps coming up with a synch error due to the fact that some files have filenames that are too long for it. When it encounters one, SkyDrive stops, posts an error message with the offending file's name and location and then if I hit OK, SkyDrive dies. Happens endlessly. So I go and change/delete the offending file and it keeps coming back. I can't seem to find the master source. It seems that SkyDrive is synching all files from all locations and unless I were able to delete the offending file from all locations simultaneously, it keeps coming back. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I've been working on this for days!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting this error message when trying to open Windows Live mail:  "WLM can't be opened, check if the disc (which disc?) is full or if the memory (which memory?) is out. Error code: 0x80041161.

I've been advised of pros to download something like "wlarp.exe" and have done so but I don't know what to do with this file/program.

Please explain in a simple way as I'm not very good at computing

I am running an Acer laptop with Windows 8 and Essentials Live Mail 2012.  I periodically get this error message: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems or a long period of inactivity.  Code is: 0x800CCC0F.

And, the error message will not go away by clicking the X on the error message window.  Need to go into Task Manager to "End Task" of Mail, and restart the program.

Any suggestions?

Having recovered from MS's SkyDrive fault with missing photos and thumbnails over the last few days (during which I gave Michelle Anne D my MS Account email address) I now find that

 (1)  I cannot upload files and
 (2)  I cannot get to Outlook.com.

1.  Uploads hang and then give an error message "Sorry, there was a problem uploading this file. Please try again",  retries also fail.  I notice that whereas previously clicking on 'Upload' would produce a panel giving the option of 'drag and drop' or 'browse' it now goes straight to 'Choose file to upload' in an explorer window. I have tried various file types and destination folders and with files that previously uploaded OK.

2.  If when logged in to SkyDrive I attempt to select Outlook.com from the drop-down  - a number of empty grey pages ( dub120.mail.live.com ? ) open and close in quick succession and the logon (email/ password ) page reappears with the message "Something went wrong and we cannot log you on at the moment. Please try again later".

If I  go to my 'Public' folder (which of course does not need a logon) and attempt to select Outlook.com from the drop down - I get a logon (email/password) page as expected but then the same thing happens and the same "Something went wrong . . ." error message appears but on returning to my 'Public' folder I find that I have in fact been logged-in to SkyDrive !

The same errors happen when logged into my wife's MS Account on my own PC (W7 Pro SP1, IE10), but on my wife's PC (Vista HP SP2, IE9) both of our MS Accounts behave normally and uploads complete and Outlook.com opens.

I have no SkyDrive applications installed on either PC, it's all web site activity.

I've read all the answers about WLM and the error message but I don't understand what to do with the downloaded "wlarp.exe". There are many suggestions about different files and reparing instruments to download but no explanation of how to handle them.

Would anyone, please explain it to an old Swede - in simple Words, please.

64 names are in my group and outlook will not send.  Help please.  I have reset up the group 3 times and get the same error message.

Original Title: Trying to receive pics from my cell phone to my email

For some reason, I cannot forward pics that I receive on my cell phone to my email account; when I try to forward pics to my email, I get an error text message (9000) stating "your picture message to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** was not delivered because either you or the recipient has chosen not to receive messages".  I called my cell phone carrier, Sprint, and they indicated there are no blocks or restrictions on my cell phone account and that I should check with Microsoft.

My email worked ok until yesterday when I started to get error message 0x80004005 when trying to send/receive emails.  This is only happening on my laptop and emails work fine on my desktop.  I've tried repairing Windows Live and also removed and reinstalled but this hasn't worked.  Any help would be appreciated.
