Error message: "Message cannot be sent. Enter an email address in the To;, CC;,or Bcc field". Cannot roll back to Windows Essentials 2011 even after uninstalling version 2012. Error msg: "Unable to install due to 'some canvas error problem......" Have found no solution in the MS community. MS does not support its add-on products. When is MS going to fix this bug?
<Windows 7>
Both Outlook.com & SkyDrive are both intermittently working, Outlook.com will open emails, but you try to send an email or search and you get an error message:
"There was a problem with the Outlook service (a temporary network connectivity issue that has nothing to do with your computer). Please try again. If you keep seeing this message, go to Service status to check if there's a problem with Outlook."
This has been happening for over 24 hours, Outlook desktop client will not connect and update (saying "All folders are up to date" when they clearly aren't. Yet the service status says there's nothing wrong.
I'm not really annoyed that there's a problem but the fact is this has been going on for 24 hours and there's been no change to the service status saying all is normal, it's clearly isn't.
Cheers
That problem seemed fixed, but a new one has emerged. There is no clear error message other than the fact that Skydrive is "processing changes".
I use SkyDrive as a way to keep my devices synched with my data and thus backed up. It is my main form of backup. I stopped using both Carbonite and Google Docs when I switched back to Office 365, Outlook Desktop, and Outlook.com. However, SkyDrive is proving unstable and inaccurate. Error messages when they do appear as so vague and cryptic that they are useless. When the new Office 365 came out with promised seamless integration of Outlook and outlook.com, automatic file synching on all my devices, I was ecstatic. MS Office products are much more powerful than the Google stuff I had switched to because Outlook never did synch well with anything but Exchange Server, a pricey luxury that I could not justify using. So, now both my wife and I are experiencing many problems with SkyDrive. It seems impossible that a company with the size and reach of Microsoft would put out major software that is so unstable. I feel stuck because I want to use MS products as I have for decades now. But I need to know it will work. And it does not so far.
I hope there is a simple, elegant, and thorough solution.
I am using Windows 7 64 Bit on a PC. I am up to date with all of the recommended fixes from MS.
I get an error on the screen after the following steps: 1. Turn camera on 2. Turn dial to Wi-Fi 3. Select SNS & Cloud 4. Select SkyDrive 5. Click ok 6. Connect to Wi-Fi 7. Sign in to Microsoft account with user name and password 8. Logs in and takes you to a page snsgw.samsungmobile.com Samsung DSC needs permission to:.... 9. Click yes 10. Error message “There’s a Temporary problem” I have reset the camera and I have reformatted the card and uploaded the latest body firmware on to the camera which has made no difference. |
What happened?
On 1st September, I received an alert message at 11:54am from my phone service provider (vodaphone) noticing me that my monthly 1GB datahas been used 50% (which is impossble as i only start of my plan this month back then).
Same date at 13:15pm, 85% of the 1GB monthly data has been used up.
Same date at 15:18pm, 100% of the 1GB Monthy data finished. ---> this crazy speed usage situaton has happened continuosly until Thursday ( 5th September)
Reason of Excessive 3g usage
I was asking help from vodaphone's technical staff, unfortunately, the problem was not FOUND until Wednesday night (4th Sep) when i log into my *** Email address is removed for privacy ***emal.
I found out: The email ( containing 25MB of photos )that I tried to send on 29th August 2013 to myself from my iphone's hotmail app was sent 77 times from my phone non-stoply.
At first, I was just trying to send the photos from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** ONCE!
and it ends up sending 77 times. I've been to the apple store, and the techinical department clearly states it's HOTMAIL's problem. Not the iphone's problem.
(I did up a calculation: 77 emails from this error!!!!!)
55 emails with a big size of33.60M (each) = 55 x33.60 =1848 MB
22 emails from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Answering your questions
The error message of the 22 emails from postmaster
“
Delivery Status Notification (Failure)
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed.
*** Email address is removed for privacy *** “
(I think the email account is too full to fit in the continuous incoming 33.6 MB email. )
The 55 emails from my email account is a normal email.
Just too many. no special error message !!!!!!!!
What I want you to help
1.Apple staff told me that if I activate my hotmail account in my phone again, the email will be still there and being sent continuously. PLEASE help me to solve this problem.
2.Can you please provide me a written document showing my excess 3G data is due to “HOTMAIL”’s problem. Not my own intention to use that much to send the same email. They are not asking for very formal documentations. BUT just an explanation so that I won’t be charged crazily ($400 Australian dollar)
Please note: I dont know the IP Address of my iphone , and I have attached some photos to show you what happened as well as the APPLE STORE' report.
This account can't be used to access Outlook.com
I have no clue what office 365 is. I don't use anything like that. I have a hotmail account of my own, and one through my school. The school has told us nothing about Office 365. I don't even have a current version of office on my computer. This was a random message. I fought with it for awhile, using different browsers, dumping all my cache and history, gave up, and went to bed. Next morning, like magic, it worked again.
Last night. 9/12/2013, a friend posted on facebook that her outlook account was also down, with the same weird Office 365 message. She also does not use office 365 anything, but it was a .edu address. I told her about my experience, we hunted for a solution, and then she decided to wait. It was worrisome, as she couldn't do anything with her online classes, get emails from staff, etc. All we found were references to it being a *.edu problem, but no fixes, and the reports went back months to years.
Today, mine is now dead again. I am getting the same message, about something called "office 365." My other hotmail account logged in fine. But the school account? Completely unaccessible. Not by chrome, not by firefox, not by IE. As that's how I get my work notifications, this is a big problem.
I open outlook. I enter in my email address, @mail.umkc.edu and I type in the password. And then...Office 365 error.
I have hunted through the forums and there is no working solution to this, the link to a page that fixes it directs somewhere that no longer exists, and this seems to have been an ongoing problem for a year-plus. Is there any solution? Or do I just have to wait until it somehow begins to function again, and hope it's not five days or two weeks down the road? Is it my school messing up on their end, or a microsoft bug? As it's Friday afternoon and they've all gone home, I can't even get ahold of the UMKC tech support for this. Can I fix this? Can MS fix this? Or is the problem on the school's end, in which case I am entirely out of luck?
