Hello, I have an urgent request, the wlmp project I was working on for weeks is now not opening.
I just changed my Hotmail password via my pc and now my iphone4s gives me the message "Unable to verify account information". I tried deleting my Hotmail account from my phone and then adding it back but I continue to get the same error message. I then tried adding the account manually (not using the iphone Hotmail icon) and I am getting error message "The user name or password for "pop3.live.com" is incorrect". Do I need to change the mail server name?
I can access my email via my pc but have to be able to send/receive email on my phone.

Original Title: Outlook.com not syncing with outlook app/Windows Phone
I recently purchased an Acer Aspire R7 convertible laptop. It is running windows 8.
I have had a MS account with a gmail email address as my username. I added an alias *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, and removed all of the gmail associations, both within my MS Live account, and my email accounts. After doing this, I can not receive or send any emails to/from my outlook.com account, my mail app on Windows 8, or my Windows 8 smartphone. I tried to manually sync my mail in the mail app by pressing the sync button, but I get a message in the top right hand side of the window that says *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is unavailable.
I thought maybe it was just a problem with the email address, so I added an alias - *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Still the same issue, with one exception. Now when I try to log onto outlook.com, it now says "We're updating your inbox". I thought maybe it just needs some time, so I waited to check on it until this morning. I still can not send or receive emails to either of my outlook accounts. Additionally, my outlook accounts will not sync to my Lumia 1020.
I tried sending a test email to my outlook.com address from my gmail address, and it was sent back to me. The message that was sent back read:

I have up to date system and browser.
I used 2 different browsers.
I cleared browser cookies and cache, all history.
error message still there.
Please I need to access my email urgently.
I already followed up instructions to revert back from outlook.com to hotmail.com and I can't access my inbox.
I also deleted the new outlook.com from my alias addresses.
I tried shifting to https and back, both didn't work.
Please please help me. I can provide email and info, provide help and private data, but I need to access my email urgently.
