One might have thought that some straightforward method could be devised so that Microsoft could communicate with its users and that they could actually be in a position to respond easily.

Hi, Judith. I simply clicked on "Delete all from..." under the latest message from that sender (31 messages) and immediately I was informed that 1001 messages had been deleted. Sounds like pretty incompetent design on the part of Microsoft. And to top
it all, even Microsoft's own address when I wanted to reply is marked as "User Unknown"!!!!!!!!!
