Contacts recently added are not displaying on the list.
Try to reADD and system says they are already a contact!!! Frustrating, Have tried everything recommended below. To no use.
I was blocked from my account because I was hacked and spam went out. I was immediately blocked! My alternate email address listed is one I have not had access to for years. I can't get my account unblocked. I have tried everything and I just get sent
around in circles always coming back to needing access to that old account. I can see on this forum that MANY people have this same issue. Please help me as you have helped others! I need help ASAP!

I was trying to set up a password reset account for my website using your SMTP server and kept getting an authentication error. After exhausting everything I could think of I changed my password to something much simpler and shorter and it started working. Here is the 25 character password I was trying to use:

I'm not sure if there is a special character it didn't like or if it was the length but I could log into the account at hotmail.com just fine with it.
Can you tell me what the password restrictions are for SMTP authentication?
Categories in shared calenders not working in Outlook 2011. Is there a fix / work around / 3rd party plugin for this issue.

Hi I was kick off my internet and everything went fine airport extrem and back online.
Went to outlook and I was hit with the 17199 error.
I took off both of my accounts changed the passwords on both account rebooted and same problems.
I using pop on my MacBook Pro 17in.

I have two hotmail accounts. My personal account is the one with problem. I have forgotten my password and when I attempt to reset by matching the little message on screen, it tells me that what I have typed does not match the displayed information. I
have tried typing everything exactly the same and it still will nto work.
Updated 14.2.2 and having issues with Office including the already mentioned ribbon issues with PP and Word. However my Excel won't even open and my main issue is with Outlook.
Upon starting Outlook I'm asked to select an identity. There are a number of them available but I can't find anything most recent...they are all from 2011 and I believe from before I purchased my MacBook Pro. And when I select one I get the extremely
helpful "Could not change to that identity."
So it's as if everything since then has disappeared.
So the most important thing is trying to find where the devil my most recent emails have gone and then I guess it's a matter of reinstalling Office???

Please can anyone tell me how to change the 'time' on recieved emails, as it is 1 hour slow, ie recieved mail at 9am this morning, but showed I got it 8am. Probably something simple, being a silver surfing not everything is that easy!!!! thank you
