I have removed an outlook account so i could add it again. Now it turns out that everything was not syncronised up in the cloud, so I wonder if there is a possibility to restore the previous one?
Hello,
I'm new to Outlook 2011. I have an account configured as SMTP and sent items are saved locally in "Sent Items/On My Computer" but not in the Webmail. I decided that IMAP is a better option for my needs so I added a new account, but configured it as IMAP.
Now, I want to move my sent messages from "Sent Items/On My Computer" to "Sent Items/On My IMAP Account". Everything in the same computer.
Can this be done? How can I accomplish this?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Carlos Antonio
I get the following error."Outlook cannot find server. Verify the server information is entered correctly in Account Settings." I haven't changed a thing, and everything looks in order? I am on a mac and my email address is through yahoo.
Incoming server pop.att.yahoo.net: 995
outgoing is smtp.att.yahoo.net :587.
I've check "Override default port" and checked "use SSL to connect".
Please help?
I launch WL 2012 ( english but the problem is the same with the french version I used to use and with WL 2011 too ! )
I can connect, everything goes well except that all my contacts are OFFLINE.
However they see me ONLINE and I can receive their messages but I can not send or reply.
My login is something like *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Every other thing I try works !!!.
Here is a list of things I tried :
Connecting on another PC : it works.
Connecting another account on my pc : it works ! ( account like *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or *** Email address is removed for privacy *** )
Connecting with digbsy on my PC : it works.
I started to have the problem on WL 2011fr , then I installed WL 2012 ( fr ) : -> no change.
I uninstalled WL 2012 fr to install WL 2012 eng ( offline version) : -> no change.
I was having messenger plus and I removed it.
I am completely clueless...

As many have said, Outlook 2011 for Mac runs like a dog after updating to OSX Mountain Lion. After powering up the macbook and launching Outlook, it sets up my identity for fifteen minutes. Then everything runs slow for another half hour or so. It's made Outlook
nearly unusable. No solution I have read/tried works. Apple points at Microsoft. Microsoft points at Apple. That's of no use to the user, guys. We're stuck in the middle with no source of help. Microsoft - you guys really need to address this - even if it
means talking to Apple. Together you need to find a solution and put it out there for us immediately. Ok. So this is ridiculous. I'm trying to reset my password to an old account that is no longer active. The reason it matters is because it is linked to my xbox live account. I recently transferred everything to a new harddrive and now I can't log in. I
filled out the reset password form and no one gotten back to me and it's been seven days since then. I made the account 8-10 years ago and i filled out the form as best as I could but i don't remember a lot of the information it was asking for. My email I
use now is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. the email i was trying to reset the password for is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. could someone please email me and help me figure this out. I really don't want to make a new xbox live account. I can verify that this is me I just don't want to post
it to everyone online to see.
I have a brand new mac pro with nothing installed on it besides Office 2011. I started up Outlook and got the welcome window. I went through setting up my Exchange account and everything seemed to work. All my mail showed up, everything sends and receives,
good to go, right? Well, sort of. It's functional, but every time I shut it down and open it again, it brings up the welcome window. If I hit continue, it goes into outlook no problem, but it seems not to be retaining my settings apart from the account
information (I go into preferences and tell it to hide on my computer folders and the go away, but they are back as soon as I start it again).
I've tried rebuilding my identity, no luck. Any ideas?
Hotmail account hacked. My hotmail account was hacked on Thursday, Aug 16th and used to transmit fictious e-mails. Once I realized what was happening, I went and reset my password. I think I have control of my account again, however, I noticed that
I haven't received any new safe communications in my in-box since the date of the hack. Additionally, I can't read anything or execute any functions. At first, everythink looked like it was written in Thai, now everything is in gibberish blocs. I pay Microsoft
an annual fee for data storage. The fact that there isn't a contact phone number and dedicated customer service for subscribers is ridiculous. If I could think of the appropriate regulatory agency, I'd write to the federal government to lodge a complaint.
From the many threads I've seen, this is a common and frustrating complaint. People rely on Hotmail for the businesses, staying in touch with loved ones or even looking for employment. Someone please get my hotmail account fixed!
