Dear's

I am sending new email from our exchange server (our custom domain) to Hotmail but nothing received in Hotmail inbox or junk folders, this issue from last week.....

note: but its deliver from our exchange...

help please......

Hello,

Our company had set up an exchange server (accessed via portal.microsoftonline.com) using our domain name (ex *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, and we also had a live website www.our-domain.com).

We had previously been using Pop Email through godaddy. When we updated to Exchange it was fine, except for the fact you had to change nameservers at GoDaddy which essentially takes down the actual website.

My question is, how do I use @our-domain.com as an email via Exchange, but also keep our-domain.com live as a website? This error occurred when we transferred our domain and web hosting to another company (FatCow). Our email still sends with the @our-domain group, and we can also still send emails out to other parties. However, we cannot receive emails.

I need to edit some type of DNS records over at FatCow I believe, but do not know what to edit. I need to keep website live (using FatCow's web hosting/storage), but also connect to exchange.

Thanks so much.
Hi I am facing this issue with Outlook 2011. I can send or receive emails on my Outlook (2011) but when i click on the permissions tab in "Folder Properties : Calendar" I am getting error "Outlook cannot connect to the exchange server to retrieve permissions" - the exchange server might be temporarily unavailable. Verify that you are connected to the server or try again later.

1. I have tried creating a new profile, didnt work, tried re installing outlook. didnt work. Emails work but when clicked on calendar it gives the error as mentioned above. attaching a screenshot of the same.I connect via VPN mostly .
I am using Outlook for Mac 2011.  Everything was fine until yesterday.  Now after starting up and syncing with Exchange Server I get a crash.
Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks.
My outlook mailbox is full, and as I'm attempting to delete items off of my exchange server to free up space, I'm having the following issues:
  • Outlook crashes after being open for +-1 minute – error message
  • Staring with control key to rebuild Identity does not work (says cannot be rebuilt)
  • Cannot delete the email account reload as Outlook crashes before this can be done
  • Cannot delete the exchange account mail and export the "on my computer folders" because it crashes before anything can be done.
  • Cannot delete entire Identity because there are folders that "on my computer" that are critically needed and not on the exchange server.
So, questions: How can I access / extract / Export the "On my computer" folders if outlook crashes before anything can be done?

I have created a new identity and loaded email that are on the server to be able to work in the interim but need to find a way to export all "on my computer folders. "

Any suggestions are highly appreciated- perhaps their is a "back entrance" to export files from my mailbox even while it keeps crashing?

Thanks!
Matt

I am using Outlook with an Exchange Server 2007 from outside a company network. The address to this Exchange server is given as https://externally-reachable-address/EWS/Exchange.asmx . However, when I VPN in, apparently the Exchange server overrides this to be https://internally-only-reachable-address/EWS/Exchange.asmx and remembers the new address. When I stop the VPN connection, obviously the internal address is not reachable, so I will not get any email and scarcely a warning about this until I think to dive into the account settings and correct the address to point to the externally reachable address again manually.

For a number of reasons, staying connected with the VPN every second I want to use Outlook is neither preferable nor viable. How do I tell Outlook to disregard the change telegraphed by the server and keep using the address I entered manually?

(I know that manually remapping the internal server name to alias the external server name in e.g. the hosts file is a technical workaround - one that will create other issues instead and is not viable either.)

Dear all,

I have a very odd problem with a Mac Pro early 2008 model running mountain lion 10.8.4 (12E55). On our network there are other newer macs (imac and macbook pro) running the same software version  of mountain lion that do not experience the same problem. My machine is a clean install, picking up our network setting by DHCP (as with the working machines). It appears to be the same in every aspect of the network config as the working machines.

The problem:

Outlook 2011 can't access the autoconfigure and manual config fails to communicate with our exchange server (2010 SP1 >rollup 4) and gives the error code -18597. This is because outlook cant access the server correctly. The exchange testing tools passes without a problem (https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com)  when run on this machine, however when I navigate (with any browser) to https://mail.mydomain/ews/exchange.asmx I get a 403 error and no popup login screen. On all of the other macs the login appears, which indicates that the mac is talking to exchange correctly. This also happens if I run a vm with windows on, indicating that it's not a browser issue.

I have had my ip address changed (using the second ethernet) just to check that it wasn't something on IT's firewall for my normal IP address, this made no difference.. and I have also used the same physical network port as a 'working' mac, just to make sure that it wasn't something on the switch that I am on.

I am now totally stuck as to what the problem might be, as it appears to be specific to my mac, rather than a generic problem with macs talking to the exchange server. However, I can't see how this can be the case, unless the exchange server can discriminate between my mac and other macs in some way- it's clearly not an ip address problem as two different ip addresses (one in the 'mac' range on our network and one in the 'pc' range) show the same problem.

Has anyone any ideas??

Thanks in advance..

I am using outlook connector on exchange server and I get this error constantly. Does anyone know what this means and how to correct it?
1) Outlook continuously tries to sync and has increased my network traffic 5 or 6 times the previous activity. In Outlook error box (yellow triangle at bottom right corner) this message continuously loops: Could not synchronize record: Inbox to Exchange server: IBC Office 365. A folder with the specified name already exists. Error code -19917 Could not synchronize record: Contacts to Exchange server: IBC Office 365. A folder with the specified name already exists. Error code -19917 Could not synchronize record: Calendar to Exchange server: IBC Office 365  A folder with the specified name already exists. Error code -19917. THe list of errors is about 15 and once it goes through the list it starts over, repeating over and over in an endless loop.

2) I have looked at library folders. The calendar sync cache file is more than 2 gigabytes. That seems too large.

3) I have performed a database rebuild. It did not help the problem.

5) I have removed folders out from underneath the Inbox folder. It did not help the problem.

6)  I have been discovering that many emails did not convert to my new Office 365 account.

7) The Office 365 technical support team are slow, they are undertrained and they constantly stall for time.
