Moved from feedback
My computer was hacked a while ago and they also hacked into my Hotmail account and my Facebook account. I cannot recover my Facebook because they have hacked my email so I cant reset my password. And I cant recover my email account because I don't send any emails. The questioner asks to write 3 recently used email addresses (which I don't know any off by heart because I talk to people on Facebook) and recently sent emails but I have not sent an email in YEARS! I get a lot of emails from my friends, family and my derby league but I read them then delete them or talk to them on Facebook. Its been almost 2 months and I'm still not on either my Hotmail or Facebook (but I have made a new email address). My computer is fixed and all protected but no matter how hard I try I still cant get back in my Hotmail account. It says that the automated system does not have enough info to verify that its me. Is there any way to talk to someone about this or can I send a letter verifying who I am. I'm at a loss here and I feel like there is not one real person out there that can help me with this. I would like to talk to someone and not just a computer. If someone knows how I can fix this please help! I'm willing to try anything to get my email and all my contacts back.
I've set time restrictions etc on a childs account, and I know that is working, and I'm also getting App requests etc so believe everything is 'fine', but have just found them on facebook on their machine despite it showing as blocked in the permissions list.
What's going on here? I'm not overly confident in the system, now.

Hello all,
I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction with this, I seem to be having some problems with my chat status updating when using my connected Facebook account.
Lets start with Facebook and Outlook.com chat set to 'offline'/'invisible'. If I then set my chat status in Outlook.com to to 'available' (with Facebook chat on) this works fine, the status in both Outlook.com and Facebook is set to 'available' However if
I then set the status of 'Facebook chat' to 'off' or my 'availability' to 'invisible' via Outlook.com this status is not reflected in the Facebook chat at Facebook.com, even though it sets correctly on Outlook.com.
Surely if I set my Facebook 'availability' to offline at Outlook.com this status should also be reflected at Facebook.com?
Any pointers?
Thanks,
Regards
Similar to a post someone encountered last year, I have a single contact (my best friend) who doesn't appear to show up in either the Outlook.com website or the Windows 8.1 People app. All other contacts appear correctly, and this specific missing contact appears on my Lumia 925 correctly. I've re-linked my Facebook account, which had no effect.
I've reached out to this individual to see if perhaps he somehow "blocked" the Microsoft app in his FB settings (I noticed that "Windows Phone" is, in fact, a separate app) Is there any diagnostic method available to an end user to determine the specific results of the API calls that Microsoft is making on their behalf that could identify if it is in fact Facebook not returning the data?

i am having this same problem.
Somehow my facebook contacts were added to my outlook.com contacts.
I have followed the steps to remove permissions and unlinked facebook and outlook.com accounts, but the facebook contacts still show in my outlook.com contacts.
has anyone found a way to resolve this problem?
Thank you
