Windows Live Writer – how to find previous posts

I took my PC down to factory settings, to try to solve some problems.  I restored my backup before re-installing Windows Live Writer.  Now when I try to open previous drafts, the program does not find them.  I also can't find them.  I even tried a search for a past post title; it was not found.

How can I find them?

If I do find them, how can I direct Windows live writer to go there?

cannot send emails

I have just downloaded windows live mail after resetting my computer back to factory settings.  now when I open windows live mail I get the following message:-

The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified. The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value.

Do you want to continue:  I click yes and then I can receive emails, however, when I try to send them I get the following message:-

smtp: virginmedia.com

windows live mail error id: 0x800CCC0E

port: 587

secure (SSL) yes

Socket error: 10060

I have tried everything checked all the server connections, port no's. security settings, I even tried to reset the DNS.

I am a 55 year old totally techn phobe and I am loosing the will to live.

PLEASE HELP.

Can not remember email address created specifically for an itunes account – I do know the back-up email address listed on the account.

I set up an email address for my daughter specifically for her itunes account.  We had to reset our computer to factory settings and it is no longer saved in iTunes.  Is there any way that i can recover the email address with the one that was listed as a back up for password assistance? Help! I hate to lose all the music purchased for her with that email.

problem setting up outlook accounts

I have purchased a used mac that was programmed to factory settings before being installed with loads of new stuff. Everything seems to be working apart from outlook, i click on outlook and the email page opens fine i then click on tools then accounts. The add accounts box drops down then freezes after only one click, i find i cannot close the accounts box and it also prevents me from shutting down or restarting with the only way to do it being to force quite outlook. Can anybody help?

Windows Live Parental Controls are not working anymore!

I used Windows Live Parental Controls on my children's school computers last year and they worked perfectly. When I reset their computers to factory settings and re-installed Live Parental Controls, only the time control settings work. I set the web filtering to "allow list only" and nothing is blocked at all! How do I fix this problem? Please help me! 

Cannot find all emails/addresses after conversion to Outlook.

Within the last 2 days I had to completely reformat my computer back to factory settings.  Now when I sign in to hotmail it comes up through Outlook.  I had several email addresses under hotmail and msn which would all come up in the same place when I signed into hotmail.  Now I only get the main hotmail address but not the msn address or any other hotmail addresses.  How can I access those other addresses?Within the last 2 days I had to completely reformat my computer back to factory settings.  Now when I sign in to hotmail it comes up through Outlook.  I had several email addresses under hotmail and msn which would all come up in the same place when I signed into hotmail.  Now I only get the main hotmail address but not the msn address or any other hotmail addresses.  How can I access those other addresses?

opening files and attachments

i had to return to factory settings. My cv is saved as an attachment in my inbox on outlook, when i came to open my attachment it opened it in wordpad, ( i think i should of opened it in microsoft word ). i then asked me if i wanted to open all my files in wordpad and in a rush i answered yes. Is there any way to reverse this ?

Skydrive missing files

On 9/1/2013 I added several files to my skydrive.  I walked away for about a half a hour so that everything could sync.  I reinstall my computer to factory settings because of several error messages. I saved these files to skydrive because they were important to me for work purposes.

Today i went on skydrive to retrieve these files and they are gone.  Like I never placed them on there.
I know that they synced because it said in the cloud all items up to date.

can you tell me if there is a way to get these items back?
