my saved contacts dont match with the auto fill area

I did a lousy job of explaining the issue in the title - but basically, I have saved contacts which have all been corrected, but there seems to be this "auto fill" feature in the To: area of composing an email.

I have tried refreshing but EVERY time I type a particular person's name in the To: area it auto fills in the incorrect address.

How the heck do I fix this?

When filling in the "To" line of an email it used to auto fill with matching address, now it goes into perpetual search mode and doesn't fill in the address.  What's up with that and how do I fix it???

 I no longer have an auto fill to the sender but their info is in my Hotmail contacts.  I also do not get an auto fill on replys.

when I reply to an e mail the To: address does not auto fill. I have to cut and paste from contact list
