Outlook trying to compress and attach folders when adding attachment to email.

  1. I create an email
  2. Want to attach a file to email
  3. select attach - opens finder 
  4. Find file (not in folder) - attachment works fine
  5. Find folder that holds file
  6. Select folder
  7. Outlook tries to attach and compress entire folder
  8. *Not what I want to do - just want to open folder to select file INSIDE of it

Help?
