Firewall doesn’t load automatically while using Microsoft Security

I use Windows Vista Home edition and am using Windows Security Program for all my computer's protection.

Since I installed it about 6 months ago, and most all from the beginning, the Firewall doesn't load automatically.  It asks me to load it manually.

Any suggestions?  Thank you in advance!

BTW, below it didn't give me the option of choosing the correct Product, so I just randomly chose Writer.

Hi Microsoft,

 

We have determined that an auto generated email from https://nppes.cms.hhs.gov/IAWeb/login.do after sign up is being blocked to send to hotmail accounts. We have tested and it works fine with gmail, yahoo, etc, but hotmail appears to be blocking it. It does not even arrive in the junk folder so it seems to be at the firewall level.

 

I can provide the email that is used to send these, but do not want to post it for the public to see.

 

We also discovered that adding the email as a safe sender will allow the email through, however they cannot re-sign up with the same email to regenerate the email.

 

Please reply asap as to how we can proceed to unblock this issue where it is being blocked.

I have to sign in each time I go to my hotmail.com .even if I check off the box keep me sign in

I am able to log in to my Hotmail/LIve account but am unable to open anything. Not e_mails, not folders, sent messages, ….nothing.

See above.  My suspicion is that this is a security/firewall issue with my anti virus programs but I'm not sure how to proceed.

Starting today I can't sign into Windows Live Messenger.  I have 3 ID's and can't sign in with any of them.  I can use the Web messenger through my Hotmail accounts, but can't sign into Messenger.  I get the error code 81000490 and I have followed every direction in this forum and I'm still unable to sign in.  I've installed and uninstalled several times and it still doesn't work.  In some of the directions the options I'm supposed to be looking for don't even exist.  I have Windows 7 Pro and the version of Windows Live Essential is 16.4.3503.728.  I'm not being blocked by a firewall and I'm not being blocked by my Antivirus software. Often when I try to sign in none of the links work.  I have internet connection.  The only messages I get are that I'm not connected  to MSN and that error code.  I need help please, I'm pulling my hair out here.

Windows Live Essentials, error 0x80070643. I fixed al firewall settings, but it still does not install

after deleting Microsofts request to download Windows Live Essentials for weeks, I gave in today, and now I have no more e-mail, because it is unable to download. Amessage tells me to close all firewalls which I did , but still it is unable to download the program. Now what???

I have received an e-mail from (removed for security reasons) advising that a "DGTFX Trojan virus" has been detected in my windows live folders. They require my user name & password so that my account can be "upgraded to a new 1024-bit RSA key anti-virus firewall". They further advise that my e-mail account will be terminated if I do not respond..Can you please adivse if this is a legitimate e-mail to which I should respond.

I get error code when trying to sign into messenger how can I fix it? code 84cc0009

How can you tell if your email account is still being accessed by hackers after you have changed your password?

I know hackers accessed my email again, after I changed my password the first time...(more hacker emails were sent). I've changed it twice since but have no idea whether this is actually stopping them from accessing my email account? (I've also done hard disk scans, deleted cookies, checked firewall....) I have the free version of hotmail, I can't find any live person to talk to at MSN...... Any advice about what I should do is appreciated!
