Folders on my old machine (Vista) have old messages. Email folders on my new Win8 machine have only messages placed there in the past two weeks. No old messages.

I recently purchased a Win8 PC.  Checking my email on this machine I get "No new messages in the last two weeks" in folders, unless I have moved new message in a folder.  If I do the same on my older machine (Vista), the messages I placed in folders are still there.  What gives???

 

Do any messages that I have saved in folders get removed after two weeks.  How can I move my saved in folder messages from the old machine to the new machine via Skydrive or whatever.
