I haven't signed into my account for a while, just to discover that all my folders were deleted. I created the folders to save the important e-mails, documents, and pictures. I also tried restoring them using your advice on how to recover deleted e-mail, but my attempt was unsuccessful. Can anyone help me restore my folders?

How do I create new mail folders and otherwise organise mail in 'live ' mail in windows 8. I have searched but nothing I've seen resembles the screen I'm looking at. How can I bring up an options box or similar. I really regret getting a new machine with windows 8.

 

I have folders within folders in my hotmail account.

 I can see them using live mail online

I can see them using Windows Live Mail  Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.0416 (on an old XP machine)

However, I cannot see them on my Windows 7 machine using WIndows Live Mail 2012 Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3505.0912).

 

Any help gratefully accepted...

Where it has folders (on the left hand side) you can add specialty folders (new folder):  How do you delete them when they are no longer needed?

I recently had to rebuild my identity from a back up after my laptop was stolen. 



When I rebuilt the identity, Outlook created two gmail folders (img 1: http://i.imgur.com/01DbZ.png). 

The first one is from my old backup but Outlook does not give me the option to delete it. 

How do I delete this?


In the active folder (i.e. the folder that syncs with my webmail) Outlook has duplicated many of the folders

I am able to delete one of the folders (img 2: http://i.imgur.com/hLkLk.png)

but I am not able to delete, rename or edit the other folder in anyway (img 3: http://i.imgur.com/ccoBw.png)

I am also unable to move any emails into the folder depicted in img 3. Why is that? And how can I delete it?

I alredy conect the inbox folder, but the another folders (Home, work, friend) dos not showing in the scream.
I cannot create a new folder (its not highlighted to allow me to do it), although once in awhile I can. What's going on and how do I prevent this problem? Thanks for your help.

I have set up several "rules" for different colleague's email addresses. Emails I receive are going straight to folders, like I want them to, but I don't receive any type of notification that I have received an email in the first instance. No noise. No red icon at the bottom of my screen..

Is there anyway I can create some form of notification or alert?

I am on Outlook 2011 for Mac.
