Emails not in folders on my MSN account sync but those in folders do not. A Samsung rep checked my Galaxy s3 settings and assured me that the problem is not with the phone.
Hi,

I use Outlook everyday for my personal and work related emails. However when I logged in this morning, all the personalized folders in Outlook.com had disappeared, except the Inbox. I can still search for the messages in those folders and they show up in search results but I cant access the folders directly neither I see them on the left side panel.

I have a lot of important personal and work related emails and I really need to access them soon.

Please help me out and let me know a solution for this problem.

Thanks,

Swarup

Not really sure whether this is an Outlook.com or a Windows Phone 8 issue, or both.

I have my Outlook.com mail inbox, and 3 folders for various other email accounts. Each folder shows when an email is received into it, but on my phone I have to go to the inbox, select ...folders show all folders before I am aware of emails received.

Is there a simple way of having either the folders consolidate to the inbox and/or have the notification tile show that an email has been received?

I prefer to use the Windows Live Mail format, not outlook, but am running Windows 7 on my laptop.  I found and installed Windows Essentials with Live Mail 2012.  My main folders all seem to be there, but my sub-folders are missing, along with their content.  Anyone out there have a solution??

I recently purchased a Win8 PC.  Checking my email on this machine I get "No new messages in the last two weeks" in folders, unless I have moved new message in a folder.  If I do the same on my older machine (Vista), the messages I placed in folders are still there.  What gives???

Do any messages that I have saved in folders get removed after two weeks.  How can I move my saved in folder messages from the old machine to the new machine via Skydrive or whatever.

AT&T is changing my DSL service and suddenly I have no more folders in Windows Live Mail.  I have all of my messages, etc., but no folders and I don't see any way to get them back.  In the View options there is a little red square at Folders but this doesn't do anything.   As shown on the screen shot, Feeds (which I never use) display on the left but none of my many folders.  Can anyone help please?

we have an Exchange 2010 Server.  On occasion users have had issues with their Outlook client freezing or crashing.  sometimes I believe it is the result of them leaving their Outlook open and then the system shutting down or rebooting.  None the less we have to rebuild databases to quickly get that operational again.  Some users have brought to my attention that under their My Computer folder there are Recovered Folders which appears to hold data from their Exchange mailbox.  What is the program trying to tell us with these Recovered Folders?  Does these folders contain data that was not synced back to the original location within a users mailbox?  Typically I tell a user that it is safe to delete these Recovered Folders since all mail is stored on the server, yet I want to confirm.   I read in a separate discussion that Diane Ross says it is safe yet there was no further explanation as to what they are and why they appear.
please advise.
I logged into my emails today to find that all of my folders have been deleted. I have not deleted anything, only my junk which i regularly delete from. I log in to my email everyday so there is not a case of inactivity. I have some extremely important emails in those folders so I hope you can help recover them please.

Thanks

Saul
