Setting email background to black in Live Mail

Is there a way to set an email background to black in Windows Live Mail?  Seems there ought to be since you can set the font to white.  I did this in Windows Mail for sending pictures since pics look better against a black background. If a black background cannot be set in Live Mail, what email software do you recommend for this?

Spontaneous font size change in Hotmail inbox?

When inspecting my Hotmail inbox and running my mouse over the page, sometimes the font size changes for no obvious reason.  What have I done?!!

I am unable to change the font colour on my signature?

I wanted to change a colour in my signature box but it is set on red (although) my type colour is black? any ideas

Outlook for MAC to Outlook Windows font issues

Hi, I have been over a number of other forums but can't seem to find an adequate answer to my problem. I use Outlook for MAC 2011 based on OS X v 10.8.2, when sending emails to Windows based Outlook, they are reading with different font types and sizes. My standard is Arial pt 12, but emails are being sent with a mixture of font types and sizes. Also, when I reply to an email that has been received the font size defaults to font 16 and even through I correct it, it still gets sent with 16. I have reviewed a number of different solutions, e.g. compose in Text Editor to downloading Thunderbird and using that! Anybody got a solution, I can't use Outlook now, am having to use Webmail to send emails...

I can sign into my hotmail but all I get is the folders on the left hand side of the screen and the font is in blue instead of black.

If I scroll down my inbox emails are there but once again all the font is in blue and the emails will not open. What ever I click on does not work. 

 

I also get this dul17w.dub117.mail.live.com/default.aspx  in the done box at the bottom of the screen,

Account looks corrupted and cant access emails

When I access my email account the font is all brown and all I get on the first page is a list of folders. On the 2nd page there is a list of all the emails in my inbox , and on the 3rd page a list of options. I can't access or delete any of the emails.

Any ideas please

I have been able to log into Hotmail, but the links for inbox, junk, and other folders are not working. I need to gain access as I use Hotmail as my main account for work related issues (!)

The folders are listed to the left of the screen as bullet points and in an orange font. None of the links work.

Have tried logging in and out a few times and have tried firefox and chrome incase it was a browser issue.

Anyone else having this or know why it could be happening?

Do I have to select a custom font everytime I create an email? Or is there a function that will set the font style for all my emails?

In windows live mail, I'd like to select a custom font style (segoe print) and keep it for all my emails....how do I do this? I have it set up on windows mail, works fine. Thx, NB
