I hate the new format for Hotmail Contacts, called "people".    How do I get my older version back. I never asked for it to change.

  1. With the new format for contacts I can't figure out how to add existing contacts to an existing group....I dislike this new format very much.

This new format of hotmail has you jumping back and forth to read,send,go to contact list which seems to be so much more than the older version where you could read your mail,type a message,click "to" and your list was there and all you had to do was click "send".Everything was in the one spot.So less confusing and less time.Why the change?

The configuration of my Contacts has suddenly changed PLEASE can I have my old & trusted format back!!

The configuration of my Contacts has suddenly changed - it will now only give me a page entitled "people" with a heading in red and 2 little people in the top left corner- it is reluctant to let me view my "groups" and when it does there always seems to be someone included who has no reason to be in that group, and who was never there previously  - this could lead to a very embarrassing situation - I also seem to have no means of editing these groups without removing a contact completely from my list
PLEASE can I have the OLD type of contact list back !!

Is there a way to disengage from People to revert my e-mail contacts back to Hotmail?

Outlook hijacked my e-mail I reverted back to Hotmail. It still left my e-mail contacts in People. Is There Any Way to Get My E-Mail Contacts Back into Hotmail Contacts so It Doesn't Pull up the People Page and Format?

How do I edit my contacts in Hotmail???? They’ve changed the format!! Frustrating!

Where are my GROUPS in the new CONTACTS format?

Though the new CONTACTS section has a nice appearance, where are my email GROUPS?  I can see where to edit only the names of groups, but nowhere to add/delete members.

Trouble with adding new contacts

Since Hotmail has changed the format of the contacts section, I have not been able to add new contacts. I always get the message "We couldn't save changes to this contact. Please try again later." Can anyone help me?

I have been unable to open my emails or write emails since Thursday, September 6,2012. The format also looks different. Help!!!

Since Thursday, September 6, 2012, I have been unable to open any emails,or write any emails.  The format looks completely different.  I have Internet explorer version 8.  I use MSN as my home page when I sign in for hotmail.  THere have been no changes to my computer or other software to cause this malfunction.  When will this be addressed and fixed?

Everything seems to be working ok with the new "People" format,

 ....But I can't get it to delete my old group listings. I'm trying to start a new list and it shows it done except when I go to actually sending a email the old group list

 shows up instead of the new ones?
