When I use Windows Live email, I am not able to forward messages or forward email sent to me with forward to. I keep getting a message that I

do not have a digital ID and will not be encrypted. Message will be sent, but I will not be able confirm in my sent file.

Can anyone help with this?

<Windows XP/IE7>

Hi
I have been trying to send emails via Outlook to my various gMail accounts but many of the messages are not arriving. They are all shown as sent in Outlook.
I have more than one gMail account - a main one & 2 or 3 others. These others are set up in gMail to automatically forward messages to my main account & these are the messages that are not appearing.
Any messages sent to my main gMail account are appearing in that main account but messages sent to my other accounts are not showing up. This forwarding system works fine for all other email providers (I have asked friends to test it out for me) but not for Outlook.
Please excuse the garbled message but I hope some one can help
Cheers

I have noticed that the moderators here tend to supply a lot of information about a question, while avoiding answering the question. It almost seems like moderators search for key words in a question and then copy and paste from their library of information about the keywords, instead of actually answering the question with direct knowledge.

My question is very clearly spelled out in the topic sentence, which I will repeat here:

Can Outlook.com Only Forward Messages From the Junk Folder?

As was the case with so many of the questions I ask here in this curiously-named Microsoft Answers forum, I was left to figure out the answer on my own:

Outlook cannot forward messages from a single folder. It either forwards all messages or none. There is no message filter configuration that allows a user to forward from one folder only.

Therefore, in my situation, while I can send all messages that are not contacts or safe senders to the Junk folder, I cannot forward these messages to my account so they never appear in the Junk folder to begin with.

At the present time, Outlook.com has no provision to forward all messages except for contacts or safe senders. Such a feature would be beneficial for a Child's Microsoft account, so if enough parents ask for it, perhaps this feature will be added in future.

Lol, I am sorry no one used their brain to answer your question. The people who answer here are either robots or no-brain users.
I also am trying to see if the emails going into junk email folder are auto-forwarded or not. I will let you know if I get the answer.

Split from a long dead thread.
Hello,

I have two emails one of them hosted on my domain and on my server and the other is @msn.com.
I forward messages from my server to @msn.com email and all was fine, but after latest outlook.com outage the outlook started to ignore too many messages, i've tried to forward to GMAIL and all messages got forwarded normally.

I've tried to forward to GMAIL and from GMAIL to Outlook, but outlook still ignoring messages also from GMAIL.

There is no error messages or feedback from Outlook, it's just ignoring them.

Is there any way to fix this or i must leave the service?

Thank you
I keep trying to forward messages to my Res-Soc (Residents Society) but it just takes one name from the list ...now there is no address book I can find; just a list of contacts ...no clear explanation. I tried highlighting them all but it doesn't work.  WHY do they have change everything...absolutely maddeningly time wasting.  It puts the name Res-Soc on the email but when I check, I can see it has only gone to one person.
HELP!!! I am trying to send an urgent message!
Thanks, Julia
have kept my e-mail address @live.co.uk but am struggling to find out how to forward messages as the forward button has vanished
With my hotmail account, I was able to forward messages to my contacts by clicking on "contacts", and a drop-down menu would appear so I could check the people I wanted to foward the message to.  How can I do this with the new Outlook?  Why am I getting just a short list of the people I most frequently email (which actually isn't accurate anyway)?  Why not everybody?  Am I going to have to put in the names one by one in order to forward a message?  This would be so burdensome!  Please help.  Thanks.

I forward emails to my homeowners association members (aprox 350) so I have them divided into 4 groups.  I named each group and have the letter "a" and a space before these groups so that it was easier to get to the group than by typing entire name.  Now with this change...the group names do not come up.

How come when I try to send or forward messages in hotmail, when I click on the to button my contact list won't open?
