need help changing microsoft account for gamertag

Hi my names jason 
I have a gamer tag lumpy69 that was assotiated with *** Email address is removed for privacy *** that email expired. 
And when I signed in with that email it issued me with a new gamertag of TeenagePoet732 
I have created a new email *** Email address is removed for privacy ***  that can be assotiated with the gamertag TeenagePoet732
Because I want the lumpy69 gamertag assotiated with *** Email address is removed for privacy *** .

Hello

 

Earlier this year I had a Gamertag attached to an old email address, for example '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***'. This email address was no longer needed, nor was the Achievement History on the Gamertag, so I deactivated this account.

 

I now have a new email address being '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' and would like to use the same Gamertag name as I had before, but without any of the old Achievement History being transferred across. When I perform a Gamertag search I see that it is still live.

 

As my old Hotmail account has been deactivated then surely I can re-use this Gamertag. Could someone please contact me. More than happy to PM a Microsoft Support consultant and send over all of the necessary information to get this issue resolved.

I have been having trouble signing into my gamertag due to my email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** being no longer in existence. I have tried all of the troubleshooting options and spoken with xbox support who have directed me here after they tried to help me. I have entered the email and password for the microsoft account associated with my gamertag but it just gives me an error saying there is something wrong with my credentials. When I go to account.live.com it says somebody may be using my account; I have tried everything and filled out the questionnaire which led me back to account.live.com trying to reset my password, but the email it wants to send the password reset to is the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email that no longer exists. I want to associate my gamertag ShrillLight with the email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** so I can access my gamertag. Is there anything I can do?
