Gmail Team Forwarding Mail Conformation.

The Gmail Team emailed me a request from a known email address requesting me to allow mail automatically sent from this person to my Hotmail account. This person has a googlemail account and while he's known to me (and can email a reply normally to me) I want very little to do with him. I've tried to find out how to set up this service out of curiosity to no avail (I have a Gmail account). I am suspicious if I click on the Verification link, I may compromise my account in some way. Is this person trying to send any mail from me, onto other email addresses?? Or this this an automated message from Gmail when the person decides to change his current Googlemail address over to Gmail?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

WLM No provision to change IMAP to POP.

Trying to access Gmail via POP in Windows Live Mail (Win 7 Pro). POP enabled and IMAP disabled in Gmail. But when conficuting servers in WLM, there is no way to change IMAP to POP as there is no arrow beside IMAP box on servers page.

why does my hotmail default again to outlook? I hate outlook.

My Hotmail account defaults to Outlook.  I can't get out.  I hate Outlook.  I like Hotmail, not that its much better than gmail or att or a jillion others.  But outlook is really really really bad.  Kill outlook, or at least let me get out.  Who designed this lobster pot anyway?  It is a trap, a road to nowhere.  Get me out.  I hate it.

Archived e-mails missing when upgrade Entourage 08 to Outlook 11!

Hi, 

I just set up emails (gmail and 2 personal .com emails) ok in outlook 11 and then clicked to import from Entourage 08. It said imported ok but when I open Outlook only the recent new emails appear that were on my server. Old emails that were in my inbox in Entourage and also in many very important archived e-mail folders i set up in Entourage do not show in outlook..help!

sister used my windows live and now I cant log her out and me in. I have all her contacts in my box. How Can I just reverse this wihout deleting all her contacts please?

My sister came to stay and has now left. She used my windows live to get in her hotmail (I use gmail) but now I cant log her out and me in. I have somehow got all her 1500 odd contacts in my contacts and I dont want them there. If I delete them I guess it would delete them when she wants them too so I just want to log out of hers, but how?

How can I just reverse this , back to my own gmail via windows live and without deleting all her contacts please?

Recently set up an gmail IMAP account in Windows LIve mail for a friend. She receives three copies of every email.  What do I do to fix this?

Outlook for Mac 2011 frequently rebuilds database

Every few days Outlook crashes and makes me rebuild my database.

How do I stop this from happening?

I have three accounts feeding into Outlook. One from Hotmail, one from Network Solutions and one from Gmail (which I use to save messages and is quite large with a hundred folders).

Hotmail & Gmail accounts disappeared after Microsoft Office update

Following a recent Microsoft Office update my hotmail & gmail accounts previously setup in Outlook have disappeared along with all contacts, calendars & folders etc. How do I recover these?
