can i sync my gmail accounts with my hotmail (outlook) probably not i think but does any one know how to/way round it so i can please any help much appreciated ta

I have Win 8 & Outlook 2013 with Gmail and get this error message:

Microsoft Outlook Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Too many simultaneous connections (Failure)

Sent messages do NOT appear in Sent Items folder, but have been sent.

Drafts disappear from Outlook, but if I log into Gmail they are there.

Deleted messages do not appear in Deleted Items folder.

"People" tab has five choices for My Contacts:

Contacts (This computer only) which is empty.

Contacts - *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which has addresses.

Contacts - *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which has addresses and seems to be a duplicate of the above.

Suggested Contacts which has incomplete addresses that seem to be from people to whom I sent messages.

Contacts - CMc3com@Gmail which is empty.

How do I consolidate My Contacts into one file and get Outlook to use its folders properly?

I have my outlook.com account grabbing contacts from gmail, linkedin, facebook, Skype, and messenger. I can see all the contacts in the outlook.com people section. Non filtered list there.

But when I am syncing my phone, it doesn't pick up the grabbed accounts from those other services. It just gets the ones that are originally from outlook.com/Hotmail.com.

I am using a Lumia 920. How can I use Outlook as my sole source for contacts & calendar?

Both my wife and I have Outlook.com accounts that receive mail that is automatically forwarded from another mailbox. We use differenet email providers but both of us find that there are some mails, maybe 1 in 100,  that simply do not arrive in Outlook.com. I have tested this by setting forwarders to both Outlook and a Gmail address and by checking the mails have arrived on the webmail of the email providers. Mails arrive OK at the provider, get forwarded OK to Gmail, can be accessed by Outlook on the desktop using POP direct to the provider, but do not arrive in the Outlook.com mailbox.
They are emphatically not in junk mail, there are no blocked senders, and there are no rules that are diverting them. They just do not arrive. I have one contact whose mails seem to repeatedly go missing but when I asked him to do a test mail sent to both my mail and my wife's - it arrived in my wife's Outlook.com but not mine! Its all very strange and a bit disturbing.
It seems to me that others complain of this problem. Is it being investigated?

Hi Guys,
My custom domain vibrantcommunities.com.au is set up on Outlook.com and working well, I can send and receive from Gmail, Hotmail, etc, but I cannot email any email addresses on my own personal server.  When I try to send an email from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** I get an error saying it was undeliverable - yet sending to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is fine. This is using the Outlook.com webmail service.

My personal server resides on IP: 182.160.128.26 if that helps...

Using the Outlook.com webmail, sending an email to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, I get the following error:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

*** Email address is removed for privacy ***

--Forwarded Message Attachment--
From: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
To: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Subject: Test
Date: Wed, 30 Oct 2013 11:36:34 +0000

I can receive ok from my server - and I can send to Gmail & Hotmail... I just can't send to it.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Richard

Hello, I just integrated my gmail-account to Outlook. I can use Outlook to send mail, but when I  send through Outlook, I cannot see it on Outlook but only on the gmail account.

Is this normal, I cannot see any sense on it...
Running Win 7 64; Live Mail on top of gmail; How do I STOP a SEND. I attached some digital photos to an email. The photos are too large for gmail to accept so the Live Mail times out trying over and over to send this one email. Other emails I have sent after the very large one are queued behind the very large email so nothing is getting sent because the large email keeps timing out in front of the subsequent emails. How can I delete the very large email from the Live Mail send queue?

Native GMail still works through the browser interface.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
