I accidentally erased my security info. it says i have 30 days until it erases. i called xbox customer service and we tried erasing the cache and cookies on iphone safari, google chrome, internet explorer, and fire fox. nothing worked. im stuck in a lop thow. it gives me the option to cancel, but i click it and it brings me back to a page saying i need a verifacation code. i click next and it sends the code to my email and i put the code in and it brings me right back to the page saying i have 30 days until it is all erased, this repeatseverytime we try. we tried that on all the browers i mentioned earlier. the same thing happens on all of them. if anybody could help please do.
When I try to sign in to outlook.com, I get the following error message: "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now" (Google Chrome 27, Firefox 23 and Internet Explorer 10). According to https://status.live.com/, all services are "Running normally". My OS is Windows 8 Pro x86.

I've tried the following:
  • Singing in using different browsers (all browsers are the latest versions)
  • Clearing the browser cache
  • Disabling antivirus software
  • Rebooting my PC
  • Signing in on a different PC
  • Resetting my MS account password
None of that worked. I can sign in with another MS account, so it's not my browser or something else on my PC that's causing problems. Other services like Skydrive and Calendar work fine.

I've no idea why i can not access my emails ... I hope you can help me.
can some one please help me and tell me why i can't open my account in google chrome but i can in internet explorer. everytime i try in google chrome it tells me my account doesn't exixt. i got no help from  customer support (ellaine). she kept telling me that she only dealt with windows live or hotmail issues. if this isn't a hotmail issue i don't know what it is then. i hsve cleared my cookies cache in google and it didn't help. please help as its driving me crazy switching between the two browsers
I have a live.co.uk email that I use through Outlook.com on Google Chrome.

In the past it has always auto-refreshed so that the tab at the top of the page showed Outlook (1) when there was a new mail, but from today this has stopped working for some reason. New mails are only showing up when I refresh the page. Also, it has also stopped syncing email to my Android mobile (using the Mail by Samsung app) which was also working fine until now. I haven't changed any settings and the problem is happening on 2 different computers. Could you let me know how to fix it please?

I have cleared the cache and deleted cookies, closed and re-opened the browser.   I have Silverlight installed, and everything looks normal on the service status page.

In addition, email is no longer syncing with my Android mobile, using the Mail by Samsung app.

Please could someone help with this issue, as I'm having to remember to keep refreshing the page to check for email, which isn't exactly ideal.

Original title: remove an auto suggestion for my log in outback

I allowed another to use my computer  to log on to outlook. Their email address shows up as a suggestion to log in. How do I delete this?

My spellcheck while I type works when I use Google Chrome for my Hotmail emails, but not through Internet Explorer.  What's up with that?  I hope Microsoft will rectify this issue, as I too sometimes forget to manually do a spellcheck.  The auto spellcheck is so much easier.  It tells me while I type if I misspelled a word.
We have been getting tips that our company signature looks bad in outlook.com - Many of our customers rely on free mail services like gmail and outlook (hotmail).

By "bad", I mean that it looks like line spacing is double in Outlook.com.

Information about the signature:
It is written in HTML with tables. Logo on left side, contact information on the right. It looks fine when opening the HTML-file from "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures" in IE and Google chrome.
We tested ourselves by sending mails to an @gmail and @hotmail address. Then we checked the mails in outlook.com and gmail.com in internet explorer and google chrome.

It looks fine in gmail.com in both Internet Explorer and google chrome, but it looks bad in outlook.com in both browsers. The signature looks fine in Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2003.

As of today, my Auto-complete for creating new and forwaridng messages has stopped working when using Google Chrome as my browser. I have checked the 'Auto-complete suggestions' settings under Customizing Outlook, Advanced Privacy Settings, where you enable and all mine are set correctly. But when I use Firefox, Auto-complete works.  What do you advise I try and do to resolve the problem?

Thank you

Nicholas
Have checked online on this site and am told by Microsoft that this is the latest upgrade. It has been happening for a couple of weeks. I have used the tool on ths site to remove IE add-ons - no change. If I use Google Chrome - no problem at all. How do I correct it? It must be this PC as I can get into Hotmail/Outlook with IE8 or 9 on other  PCs. It's not 'maintenance' surely for a couple of weeks and if I can use Hotmail/Outlook from another PC or using Chrome?
